Review: Priscilla Rattazzi's beautiful little book celebrates the simple joy of family, ocean, sun and sand which originally attracted New Yorkers to the Hamptons and which still exert a much more fundamental attraction than bimbos, Boxters and benefits. Rattazi captures the passage of the seasons over Georgica where the force of the hurricane surge, the frozen pond in winter, the dawn bending of the bayman over his eel traps resonate far more deeply than the mansions which hunker over the banks of the pond.
