Rating: Summary: What about hostels and hiking? Review: This book will be helpful if you already know where you want to go and what you want to do - but when I looked in the index for hostels and hiking - there was no mention. It's not very good if you are at the beginning of your planning as there is not much of a high-level overview (ie: what to bring, when to go, options on where to stay, etc...). I will probably have to get an additional book for the basics.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Source of Information! Review: This Lonely Planet travel guide book is directed more towards the younger crowd on a budget. It is easy reading, with loads of useful information. I definitely recommend it!!
Rating: Summary: A must companion for the Emerald Isle Review: We spent several weeks in Ireland using this as our guide. While there are some things that are outdated (we could not find the CYBER CAFE in Galway) - the recommendations were helpful and the commentary interesting. They recommended a number of things that we would not have gone to had they not included them. Their city maps are a bit sparse but the level of information is excellent and clear.
Rating: Summary: I Love It!! Review: Wonderful detail! Invaluable!
