Review: This is so much more than a travel guide. The photographs are fantastic - completely inspiring and exciting. I bought this guide with one small trip to the Pacific Northwest in mind, and immediately expanded my itinerary. There is so much to see and appreciate in this country, and USA: On The Road seems to show every fascinating little corner, both off and on the beaten track. It's very well written - informative, fun, and completely unique. I can honestly say I have never found another travel guide that comes even close to this one - what a find.

Review: What a stunning book! This guide helped get us excited while planning our trip, and then provided great references and suggestions while we one the road (as it were). Its photographs and ideas continue to inspire us, even now that we're back home. I highly recommend this book.

Review: Wow, what a wonderfully unusual guide! It's full of incredible photographs and is really engaging to both the mind and eyes. I appreciated the information on the little out of the way places a lot, and learned things about sites I already thought I knew well. If you are planning a road trip and need a companion, this book is for you.
