Summary: I liked Let's Go better
Review: I travelled to Israel a few years ago, bringing both the Lonely Planet guide and the Let's Go. I found Let's Go to be better on most counts, more up-to-date and with more relevant info, plus a larger selection of good places to stay and/or eat. In addition, Let's Go's recent-history section was far better. In fact, the only thing I liked better about Lonely Planet's guide was that it was printed on nicer paper.
