Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Horrible
Review: This is one of the worst guidebooks I've ever seen. It seems to have been written for students and/or young people from other countries who are visiting New York City on a budget, which isn't a bad thing, but what's disturbing is that the editors apparently hired their researchers for nominal wages and then didn't bother to check the factual information.

There is a sketchy maps section at the back of the book that breaks the city down into different areas, which is supposed to guide people to various destinations, but it is highly inaccurate. Some of the attractions aren't identified at all, and others are actually represented as being on different streets than the ones that they are actually located on.

I would hate to depend on this guidebook if I were a first time traveler to New York.
