Rating: Summary: Let's Go: the best out there, hands down Review: I spent this past summer traveling around Europe with Let's Go, and not once did this book let me down. I've used several different Let's Go books for different places over the years, as well as some of its competitors, and I could not recommend a better book. It has a really good mix of touristy and off-the-beaten-path places, and I also really like how they have new price diversity so if I was in a not-so-safe-feeling city I could stay and/or eat somewhere a bit more upscale every so often. Anyone under 30 or 35 who wants to travel on a budget will love this book!
Rating: Summary: Let's Go: the best out there, hands down Review: I took this book with me when I spent a month in Europe. Although it did give lots of history of each country and a good amount of general info, there could have been more description and information about each of the individual attractions. Nevertheless, this book is for you if you don't want much background info. On the plus side, the color street and subway maps of the large cities such as Paris and London were really helpful.
