Rating: 4 stars
Summary: still a winner
Review: there is a 1996 edition of London Man that is by far the most compact guide for streets, points of interest, and restaurants. It fits easily into a shirt pocket or purse. The brief reviews of shops and restaurants are pretty accurate, though by no means all-inclusive. Pricey, at 20 pounds, but worth it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Don't go to London without it.
Review: This is the single guidebook that I carry with me to London. It's a very comprehensive collection of useful, practical information for manuvering around the city and its attractions. The street guide section alone is worth the price, since its pictorial format easily covers the city neighborhood-by-neighborhood, and the A to Z locator of streets is invaluable. Although published 10 years ago, most of the general information is still applicable. A new, updated edition would be wlecome.
