His style of writing is very animated, even though somewhat opiniated, which adds interest and entertainment to his story telling. Very enjoyable book!

Review: Wow! I was plesantly surprised at the depth of character revealed in this sometimes fictionalized historical account of Idaho and the Northwest. The author uses an intelligent, yet humble approach to view Idaho history through the trials and exploits of several generations of his family. His method is historically revealing, adding a sense of reality through the use of characters that you can identify with on a personal level. He has even crafted a touching ending to the story that makes a surprisingly heartwarming finish. Recommended!
