  Summary: THE KLONE AND I
Review: I read this and I thought it was too unrealistic. I really like Danielle's books, but this was one I just didn't like. Come on.....a man made synthetic klone that looks just like a real person....Jeez!

  Summary: Waisted time and money
Review: The story was the most silly and childish book that I ever read from this writer. Most dissapointed for a Danielle Steel novel. I had never had a book from Danielle Steel that I did not love but this one I don't know what else to say, bad, bad, bad!

  Summary: I LOVED IT!
Review: I read this book years ago when I randomly picked it up in a library and have never forgotten it. It was completely brilliant, totally off the wall. There was just something about it that I loved. I have never read any other Steel books, and from what i understand this was not her usual line of story. But it was such a great read. It must have been to have stuck out in my mind for about 5 years. I reacommend it to anyone who it open to an author not going by their steroetype!

  Summary: Silly, But Entertaining
Review: No one dies, as they do in most Steele novels, but "Klone" is entertaining anyhow. Recommend as an audio listen, not as a read.

  Summary: The Klone and I
Review: All in all I thought it was a good story. Four star rating instead of five due to the fact that the whole book is written in first person. I found that hard to get use to and a little annoying to read at times. But I loved the ending!

Summary: Much better than most will testify to.
Review: The Klone and I is not your typical Danielle Steel love story, where the heroine has a perfect life, something really terrible happens to her, and then true love solves all the problems. In fact, I found this more to be a satire about our ever-expanding technology. It is about a woman who's boyfriend has to go away, but sends a man who looks exactly like him. However, he dresses much differently (bad disco fashions) and acts on desire more than common sense. The rest is hard to remember (haven't read the book in years), but I remember enjoying it very much for it's satirical context and good first person narration. However, I must give this book 4 stars because the satire really fails to state a point the way satires like George Orwell's Animal Farm do. However, this book is far from boring.
