Summary: Passion, Intrigue, Exotic Locations
Review: A Tangled Web gives us an extended view into the lives of Stephanie, Sabrina and Garth. The authors continue with the wonderful character development of twins, Stephanie and Sabrina, who switched places in the first novel, Deceptions. This time, we visit the lovely south of France to learn about Stephanie's struggles with amnesia (yes, another soap opera plot, but well-written). The theme again is how strong the bond between twins can be. The romance between Sabrina and Garth, now husband and wife, is Judith Michael's ode to marriage. The children, Penny and Cliff, complete the domestic scene. There is intrigue on the international scale as Stephanie and Max hide from black market hit men and at the more local level in the scientific community as Garth and Sabrina fight to protect Garth's position as a researcher. Worth the read for descriptions of Provence and character sketches of a fictional European elite, A Tangled Web is a good sequel to Deceptions for those who wanted to share more time with Sabrina and Garth.

Summary: A GREAT STORY, MUST READ!
Review: By the time you've finished DECEPTIONS and start TANGLED WEB, you're just wanting to find out how things are going to end! The authors do an excellent job of developing the characters (especially Sabrina).

I wasn't ready for DECEPTIONS to end and I couldn't wait to read TANGLED WEB. The end leaves you feeling a little confused, in my opinion. There's really not an "end" to the story. When you read the last word of this book, you're still wanting to know more. How did their lives work out after they made their decision? Do they go on to have more children?

I would like to see another sequel come out that tells more about Stephanie's feelings about the decision that they ended up making in the end. The first book focused more on Sabrina than Stephanie, so I think it's only fair that we get an equal view into Stephanie's mind. As a mother myself, I can't even begin to imagine dealing with the decision that they had to make. I'd love to know how Stephanie dealt with it.

Summary: Like Deceptions - absolutely un-put-downable!
Review: I love this book (actually in the middle of it) and like the sequal seems just as good as the first book "Deceptions".

Its totally addictive reading and I can't wait for lunchtime so I can read some more and then in the evenings I have done nothing else apart from reading it.

This is NOT a trashy novel, the authors have sat down and spun a captivating story with so many threads that weave together to make the whole.

Absolutely wonderful

Summary: Deserves an Oscar......
Review: I really, really enjoyed reading this book. Wow I could not put it down or sleep all night, or just have a spare moment..The book is full of suspense, surprises, love, tears, and cries.Everything that a good book must have. The characters come so alive as you read more and more and you either hate one of them or love them both. It's a must read.

Summary: A GREAT STORY, MUST READ!
Review: I think this story id really interesting. it talked aboutthe twin sisters Sabrina and Stephanie. Stphanies was an American housewife, mother of two and had a failing marriage and Sabrina was divorced and lived in London. They both agreed to switch their indentification for a week. Sabrina went home as Stephanie and Stephanie went to Sabrina's home in London as a divorced single. But things didn't end up the way they wanted. Stephanie had an affair with a wealthy man in London and killed in a yaht explosion while Sabina fell in love with Stephnaie's husband, Garth. After Stephanie's death, Sabrina told Garth the truth and they both decided to saty and live together. However, the whole story started to tiwst around when Sabrina's best friend told her that she saw her in France but in fact, Sabrina had lived in U.S. the whole time. She decided to go to France and find out the truth. Then she found out something unexpectedly. It was a surprising ending. A must read book!

Summary: I was sadly disappointed.
Review: I was disappointed with this sequel. I loved "Deceptions", but found this novel tedious. It took much to long to get to the point. I also found that I had little respect for the main characters. Just tell the truth! To go on with deceptions of the magnitude that they did seems totally improbable in incomprehensibile to me.

Summary: A must read sequel!
Review: It was quite a few years ago, when I happened upon "Deceptions," an incredible book! This was the first book I had ever read by Judith Michael, and I was extremely impressed. That quickly became my favorite book! Then while I was layed over at chicago, O'Hare airport, I saw this sequel, "A Tangled Web". I had to have it, but unfortunately, I had to board the plane right then. I had forgotten the name of this book but had still tried to locate it for years. Finally, thanks to amazon.com, I was able to find it and order it. It was a wonderful book, and well worth all the searching!

Summary: well-played out and formatted
Review: This was a very good book. The plot may have been confusing, but the Judith michael team plled it off skillfully. Sabrina and Stephanie were twin sisters. Stephanie was an American housewife, mother of two children, in a failing marriage, and longing for a change. Stephanie was a glamorous, divorced, Londoner who wouldn't mind a change, either. So... they switch places, just for fun, for a week. But it doesn't go as planned when Stephanie, posiong as Sabrina, is killed in a yaht explosion and Sabrina is left to care for her own life, her sister's children- and husband, whom she had grown to love. Bt after she had buried her sister, someone spots her in France, a year later. is her sister alive? Was some cruel deception being played on Sabrina and her new family? Sabrina has to find out, and when she finds the truth, will anyone be able to cope with the conseqences?

Read and find out. The plot twists are great.

Summary: A Great Sequel
Review: Usually sequels do not make good reads. A Tangled Web is an exception to this rule. This book is quick paced enough to be finished in three days. Yet when it's over you regret that you finished it! Go ahead and get it now. You will not be disappointed.
