Rating: Summary: Maybe Next Time Review: This book was definitely not up to par with Bretton's other contemporary romances. The story is about an ex husband and wife (Joe and Christine) who find themselves sharing the same house for a summer - they have each brought another partner along and the 4 adults must co-exist with one another. Joe, who is on a rescue mission for an old friend, is now married but still loves Christine. The plot was rather dull and predictable, and the chemistry between the two characters was very weak. The ending was .. very weird. It didn't seem to flow with the rest of the book, and was a desperate attempt by Bretton to bring Joe and Christine back together. Bretton is a wonderful writer, but this reprinted story should have remained in the past. Not recommended.
