Review: This was the first book I've read by Evelyn Palfrey. I loved the story and the suspense it took you through. I was hooked after the first chapter. I just couldn't put the book down. The ending was so good I had to re-read it. I thought Evelyn did a wonderful job with this book.

Review: This was the first book I read by Ms. Palfrey and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. The suspense and romance made takes the reader on a thrilling ride. I recommend her other novels which are great too - Three Perfect Men and Dangerous Dilemmas.

Review: First book read by this author and I was not disappointed. The book caught my interest in the first few pages. Quick and fast reading - couldn't put it down & finished it in a day. The book keeps you in suspense until the end as you cannot predict the outcome - will Vivian leave Walter for good or will she go back to him & what's going to happen to the baby. Look forward to other books by this author.

Summary: Pleasantly Surprised.
Review: The first book I've read by this author. When I began the first chapter, I thought..Ohh, another book without a worthwhile theme. Just another story line about a black man and his exploits, another "good-for-nothing" man. But as I read the story began to unfold as a story with depth, a story line that was very vivid and one that had you pulling to the end for mother, new friend and child. I enjoyed to pictureque discriptions of the trip to Georgia, my home state. I loved the other characters and must confess even in the end felt that Walter was not a complete lost soul. A very creative writer. I've already purchased her other books.

Summary: Very good and interesting reading
Review: I really enjoy the work of this new and upcoming author. This author definetly needs more exposure. this is the second book I read by Ms Palfrey and it was indeed a page turner. I like the fact that she did not give a description of the main characters, you had to make up your own. My characterization of Walter changed as I read and whether I was liking this character or not. I must say I enjoyed the romance, the mystery, the family scenes in Georgia, the concerts at the camp ground. Women in the prime of their lives deserves some romance and excitement also. So, kudos to Vivian! There is nothing I can say that I disliked. I would recommend this book to all.

Review: This was one of the best books that I have ever read. I just happened upon this author, so I decided to give her a try. Now I cannot get to the bookstore fast enough to get her other books. This books grabs and holds your attention on the first page. I could not put it down. I will definitely be passing the word. This book contained everything and more. Keep up the good work Ms. Palfrey, I'll be reading.

Review: I stumbled across this book on the net and ordered it. I must tell you that it has been one of the best books I've read this year. Before searching the net, I had never heard of Ms. Palfrey before, but I finished her book in one sitting. After that, I quickly ordered her other two, (Dangerous Delimas, Three Perfect Men). I have since reccomended her titles to everyone I could. I look forward to her next titles. It made me feel good reading each and every title, she gave you suspence, revenge, and love all wrapped up in each book. Cheers to you. Keep up the good work.

Review: I really enjoyed this book. I hadn't read anything from her before and I was impressed. The story line was very interesting it kept me turning the pages. And I was rooting for the lead character of the story Vivian to leave her no good husband. I was happy for her when she found someone better. The book had a good twist and turn to it. I really enjoyed her work.

Review: This was great reading. There was romance, blackmail, drug abuse, and possible murder! Here again is another author who did not deem it necessary to engage in a lot of bad language and hot sex to get the point across. I recommend this book to anyone who reads for pure enjoyment!Great book!
