  Summary: good story
Review: The story idea was good but no doctor who treats AIDS patient would say "I have AIDS" after a simple blood test - she would say "I am HIV positive". Also, and this is true of all her books, she overuses "and" and even begins sentences with it!!!! Please leave out all of the unnecessary "ands"!

Summary: I want my money back!
Review: There was not one page of this novel that was written beyond a grade three level. The grammar and repetition were deplorable. It's amazing what millions of dollars can do to cloud someones judgement. This book belongs in the trashcan, not on any bestseller list.Steel and the publisher should be ashamed for cheating their readers in order to line their own pockets!!!

  Summary: Excellent!!!!!
Review: This book is very gripping!!!!! You will fall in love with these women from the start. Classic Steel with a good ending. These three women bond to create a perfect plot!!!!! Right up there with Message from Nam and Star!!!!!

Summary: A great novel with characters you can be involved with.
Review: This book lets you get involved in lives of others with problems and leave your own at home. You can identify with parts of some of them, but you can certianly care about all of them and hope that they make the right decisions. I enjoyed the book, It ended like it should have but not like I wanted it to

  Summary: Worthless book
Review: This book was boring, the plot wandered from character to character, and the writing was terrible. Need I say more? With so many good books available to read, why do so many people continue to buy Danielle Steel's books? I have read other books of hers, but this was definitely one of the worst! Her writing is formulaic and predictable. I will try never to read one of her books again.

Summary: GREAT BOOK !! Keeo it up D.S.
Review: This book was so moving. It really goes along
what is going on in this world. I just love it when D.S. writes about more than one person.
It is really hard to put down any of her books.
I have everyone of her books on hard cover

  Summary: One Big Yawn!
Review: This book was totally boring and childish. I think Ms. Steele wrote this book while she was sleeping. Things were repeated constantly. Boring. She sometimes threw things in as an afterthought. I think my sixth grader could have written a better story. After reading her book about the concentration camp, I was thoroughly disappointed. It will be a long time before I pick up another book by Ms. Steele. I have told many of my friends, forget this book.

  Summary: What A Surprise Ending!
Review: This is the first Danielle Steel book that I have ever read, and I must say that I am pleased. She is wonderful at expressing the vulnerabilities and fears of middle aged women entering a new phase of life. I have been inspired to savour every minute of my twenties and to not fear life as I grow older.

Summary: It could have been better!
Review: Usually I can get into a Danielle Steele novel so much, that I am unable to put it down. "The Ranch" really wasn't one of those novels. I thought the story dragged on too much and it was extremely boring. It took me almost 2-months to finish this book. My daughter actually told me, "Gosh mom, you usually can finish a Danielle Steele book in 3-days". I was actually surprised at her comment; but, it's true. Sorry Danielle!!
