  Summary: lighthearted romantic romp
Review: In Greenfield, Indiana grammar school, Kate, Sarah, and Rebecca met and by seventh grade over lipstick agreed to be friends for life. They began to keep a diary signed in their particular shade of lipstick that now they are almost thirty still maintain.

When Kate learns her younger sister Jen becomes engaged to womanizing Mr. Wrong Mark, editor of the Daily Reporter, she decides to step in and save her sibling. She enlists her two musketeers and they quickly leave from Florida for Indiana. There she persuades Jen to not marry if she or her pals find the perfect male who can pass their eight criteria dating test. While Kate ruins the prenuptials, her boss Ian and Becca's beau Jared arrive to declare their love, but are caught in the crossfire of tripping up all men.

Kate's behavior seems very foolish even if she feels guilty over an abduction incident involving Jen years ago, but readers will appreciate how deeply she cares for her loved ones. She and her fellow musketeers are friends for life and though her buddies disagree with what she is doing they will support her in almost every way possible. Chick lit fans will enjoy the inanity of the LIPSTICK DIARIES, a lighthearted romantic romp in which no paragon could attain a yes to the dating test survey.

Review: Just wanted to clarify that the book actually starts in Louisiana (New Orleans) and then moves to small town Indiana for those who are fans of New Orleans, jazz, and small towns.

Dear readers, hope you enjoy this book. I had so much fun writing it. :)
