Summary: Best Truck/Construction Software I've Seen
Review: We have Tonka Contruction 2, Tonka Workshop, and Fisher Price Big Action Construction -- all good toys. We just got Dig 'n Rigs the other day and I'd have to say that this toy is an order of magnitude better than the others. The user interface is excellent - everything is in 3D, yet it's easy to navigate. It allows kids to actually drive the trucks from the truck lot to various construction sites, then operate the fairly realistic controls. The game has more degrees of freedom than Tonka Workshop. My son (not quite 3 years old yet) would easily sit at the computer and play this game for hours if I let him.

Summary: Perfect computer game for young ones
Review: My son is 3 1/2. He has limited experience with a computer (I don't have the patience to sit and help with the mouse.), but is always asking to play on the computer. He has had a few other computer games, but they seemed to bore him, not enough action. He got this as a Christmas present (early Christmas). He has played it everyday since he opened it. The first night I sat next to him to help him figure it out, but now 5 days later, he can do it all by himself. I check on him every 10 minutes or so and he is doing great. I am constantly surprised to see that he has finished a game and switched to another. Some games are pure fun, like knocking down buildings, others have educational value, matching up the colored barges with the corresponding colored space. He loves it!! He asks everyday if he can play it, and when he does, I have to put a time limit on it or else he would sit there for hours. I love it too for the 1/2 hour of quiet time it gives me. I am sooo happy I got this for him!!

Summary: Dig a hole and bury it
Review: Not 5 minutes after setting this up for my son, the control lever inside the steering compartment broke. On receiving a replacement, it broke as well. I have a very heart-broken 4 year old.

Summary: A real pleaser for your little trucker
Review: My almost 5 year old has loved this since he was 3. The controls are easy to use, and as long as you tighten the strap attached to the controller base securely to the keyboard,it remains in place with no problems. My son just loves tonka Joe and he still sings to the theme song every time it comes on. He especially likes being able to choose which truck he's going to drive each time, whether it's the excavator, dump truck or one of the others. We did have a little problem with the disc being scratched after the first year of play, but you can just go to the infrogrames website download their address, send in a check for a nominal amount for a replacement disc and within 2 weeks he was back to truckin'. Or you could just make a copy of the original disc as a back up before you begin play, which is what we did after receiving the replacement disc. I can't wait from my next little one to have lots of fun with this game as well!

Summary: The best toy ever!
Review: My son who is 2.5 loves this game, and it is excellent in developing hand and eye coordination. He also has learn skills that involve left and right movement! Far better than watching TeleTubbies.

Summary: Hours of Fun
Review: My son was given Tonka Dig n Rigs playset for his 3rd birthday and he absolutely loves it. At first we played it together because his use of the computer was very limited, but now, four months later he is playing the game on his own. Once I set up the playset that fits on top of the keyboard (which is really easy), he's off and running for an hour or more at a time. His knowlege and motorskills with the compter is much improved and he loves the character in the game, Tonka Joe. A game I would highly suggest for any little boy.

Summary: Wish These Games Were Around When I was a Kid!
Review: My 5 year old son just loves this playset, my husband also loves to play it with him. It is so cool, there is one section where you clear the path for the airplanes to land, (you are driving a snowplow). Another part where you have to feed all of the animals, which is really a lot of fun.
I did buy Tonka Monster Trucks CD that is supposed to be compatible with the Digs n Rigs playset but the requirments differ, so if you do buy another CD, be sure it will work on your system, I thought if D&R's worked, so would the compatible CD-wrong!:)
Overall, the BEST CD/Playset my children have and they have a lot! :)

Summary: Please Restock-This is the BEST
Review: My 4 year-old son got this two years ago for Christmas and has played with it constantly ever since. I tell everyone to get this for their child, even adults enjoy knocking buildings down and making burgers and fries!
The included keyboard with horn, levers and steering wheel sits right on top of the computer keyboard, and away you go. Tonka Joe proves to be a most informative tour guide, and if you ever get lost, the ever-present map will get you where you need to be.
There are so many fun areas and activities for each of the four construction vehicles. All teach cause and effect, hand/eye coordination and spatial reasoning.
How sad I am to find out that this item is no longer available or not stocked by Amazon. I was ready to buy a new set for my nephew.
Please, bring this fabulous software package back!

Summary: Years of fun...yes, years!
Review: My 3 year old (almost 4 has been using this game for almost 2 years now and has NEVER tired of it. In fact, the steering wheel just broke and he was devastated. His complaining actually prompted me to call the company about it. I was nervous when the phone number had changed but the young man at Atari asked me to send in the steering wheel and he will send us a whole new playset for FREE! I couldn't be more impressed with this game. It really is so supportive to the player...helping a child learn the computer before they can manage a mouse and always positively reinforces the correct moves--wrong moves do not put them down...may even make them laugh. I LOVE IT and so does CONNOR!

Summary: Little Boys Dream
Review: This is a great product. My four year old cousin loved it! He couldn't get over ow he could toot the horn, steer the truck, and make such a big mess! His father like how it fit over the keyboard, his mother liked that he could make a mess somewhere else besides the house, adn he loved that he could use the coumputer just like his big brothers. It was a hit with all! ( his brothers play it too!)
