Rating: Summary: Slick looking speaker stands Review: I recently purchased a Sony DAV-FR1 5-Disc Progressive Scan DVD Dream System (gotta love cut n' paste) without thinking about where I was going to mount my tiny powerful speakers. After realizing this I went to the Sony website and found that their stands were going for $99 A PIECE!! For the price of two Sony brand ones I got a complete set of four Sanus! These Stands look cool and there are atachments that would fit just about any speaker you throw at them.

Base has a smaller footprint than the glass version of this stand. The glass is more attractive but has a wider base for stability.
Rating: Summary: Sturdy, attractive, & easy to set up Review: The base is heavy enough that my speakers stand sturdy at the full height. The locking mechanism is sturdy and easy to use. My Sony speakers mounted easily with the hardware provided, and the wires threaded easily through the uprights. There was additional hardware for mounting "keyhole" and bottom-threaded speakers. The base is flat-black with an arched design, and includes two sets of feet (rubber and pointy). The uprights are silver and match the color of my speakers. The finish appears to be high-quality. I'm very pleased for the price.
