Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A solid interactive introduction to Anatomy & Physiology...
Review:

... but, with a few minor installation problems that brought my review from five stars, down to four.

This four disk set is one of the best interactive programs for introducing anatomy & physiology available on CD. A comprehensive, yet understandable, interactive text is accompanied by color illustrations, 3d physical models and animations, lots of zooming features, videos, games and tests for self-assessment, interactive research tools, and other enhanced features that make learning fun and effective. Key terms are highlighted in red, diagrams are easy to understand and printing is a snap.

This program is appropriate for introductory anatomy and physiology, but its also relatively comprehensive, making it valuable for high school and college students, Medical students, and professionals needing to review the fundamentals of anatomy and physiology.

** One note regarding installation. I installed this program on Windows ME and two of the Windows .dll files (msvcirt.dll, and msvcrt.dll) were overwritten with older data from the software. This caused a conflict with my email program, Eudora. Now, Eudora will not run until I restore the original files from my operating system software. Its an unnecessary pain, but not overly difficult to overscome. When installing, pay close attention to make sure you don't overwrite these files, as the data on the files from the CD is problematic (or have your Windows disk handy to restore the original files, after install is complete), just in case it conflicts with another program you're running. This is something the Company really needs to correct, assuming they haven't already. Aside from this technical issue, all in all, this is a great program, and worth the extra effort.

Summary: bad disk
Review: I bought this at best buy and it would not run and the error message was in german. I exchanged it and had the same problem a second time. I contacted the manufacturer and got a new first disk. It now seems to be installed correctly but it asks for a password that I do not have.

Summary: BAD SOFTWARE
Review: I was completely disappointed with this software. I am a nursing major and desperately needed visuals to go along with my lectures and labs. This software is 1. the worst ever to load, 2. once loaded crashes the computer 3. not very functional as well. I am sorry to say I won't recommend this software to ANYONE. If anyone knows of a good A&P visual software, please post it!!!!

Thanks!

Summary: installation problems
Review: Once you get the program loaded, it has some really great features. However, This program is like a pandora's box problems problems and more problems. It crashed my computer I had to wipe my hard drive. I finally had to get a dummy computer to see what the program held. At the end of the day it was not worth the trouble

Summary: Worst software I've ever used
Review: This software slowed down my computer and then didn't ever really work correctly. I wound up wiping it off my computer completely and throwing it away. Plus the visuals are not as good nor the interface nearly as intuitive as my old Softkey Bodyworks software.
