Summary: Total 3d home deluxe desiging program this is not!!!
Review: This program I would not recommend to anybody looking for a home planning type program. I installed this program and started to design for a basement renovation project! I had several problems adding items to my basement plan and several problems getting the basic floor plan dimentions correct. Once I did get most thinks entered in I wanted to see a walk around view of the basic layout. I selected the ray trace rendering option and the program proceeded to crash. XP handled it well and allowed me to restart the program. I then opened my file again and tried other rendering options of which all crashed the program.
I decided to deinstall the program and reinstall it. This did not change the situation. I then decided to just us the basic view in the walk around tab but after placing several more items in the room I had several other issues happen .... like I could not place items where I wanted them, I could not place walls were I wanted them, I had problems with the stair dimentioning and placment. I then saved what I did have to use it later.
Later I opened my work file and the program would not open but instead would crash. I tried to open a blank project and this worked but I could not reopen my work file. I reinstalled the program once more but no change in operation. At this moment I decided the program was not worth the effort anymore and I will be getting my money back ASAP from the company!
I would not recommend this program to anybody if they are serious about using if for any kind of planning! I gave it one star because Amazon does not let me give it zero stars but I think it deserves zero stars!
