Summary: GREAT STUFF
Review: Bought this liquid fix it for a try. Well, I've already fixed one game disk that cost me over $30.00 and fixed another disk that cost me over $50.00. This stuff really works and has saved me the cost of replacing the scratched disks. The liquid is very easy to use and I have enough to fix many more. BUY IT.

Review: Great product. Stops my CD's from skipping (when breathe-and-rub didn't work) and makes them look nice on the bottom too.

Summary: Unbelievable!
Review: I bought this item to repair a CD so damaged that my CD player wouldn't even recognize that the thing was in the drive (let's just say "asphalt and a six-year old" and leave it at that). After a few minutes of buffing, _68_ of the 70 minutes of music on the CD are now playable without so much as a slight hitch! (I'm hopeful about the remaining 2 minutes.) So count me among the believers.

Summary: PRAISE THE LORD!
Review: I was looking for a new cd because my prevesious one had ben scrached by my baby sister untill my friend told me about this discrestore product. I didn't beleive him at first untill he showed me what needed to be done. He took one of his cd's and scrached it with his nail(I thought he was out of his mind). He then took out his repair kit and fixed it! The cd played like it was brand new. I ameditially bought the product and now I have fixed 20 of my cd's that i thought were lost. Thanks to DiscRX i can now listen to my favorite cd's for alot less money than buying a brand new one. Thank you DiscRX

Summary: Not great, but pretty good
Review: My job is to manage a small library audio visual department. I have looked for things to take care of the damage done to a fairly good size DVD collection, that really takes a beating. This product is very good on small superficial scratches, and I use it as an everyday cleaner, just as precautionary measures. You can tell the difference in the way things are returned, and the number of things we have to discard. Not for deep scratches, but a good product anyway.

Summary: Removes Minor Marks But Not Much Else
Review: Okay first of all, if you expect the repair portion of the product to make the play surface of your disk look like new, you will be sadly disappointed. I tested the product on a CD-R that had some scuffs. It removed the scuffs, but it leaves lots of little micro-scratches in the direction your buff the disk. This is why it warns you to make sure you buff in a radial direction. These marks will not cause any problems when they are in a radial direction because of the error correction bits on the disk; but if they were in a circular direction, they could cover all the error bits for one piece of data. You do need to bring the disk close enough to your face to see these micro scratches though. Also, do not expect it to remove any scratches with any depth. You might be able to get rid of them will a lot of work using the polishing strips provided with the product (which are essentially sand-paper), but once again you will be adding micro scratches to the surface of the disk.

As for the protection portion of the product, all it really does is make the disk surface anti-static. Thus you should not get a bunch of dust sticking to the disk. If you are expecting some miracle protective coating to stop the disk from being scratched when you drop it on the road accidently, you mine as well look somewhere else.

Summary: It really works!
Review: This fixed a fairly deep scratch to a CD I just bought, which I accidentally damaged while putting the CD back in the case. I've also used this to fix every damaged DVD I've rented from Blockbuster. No more returning movies because they skip. Fixing a CD or DVD takes only about 5 minutes.

Summary: Good, but not super.
Review: This product is indeed the best disc retoration product on the market. However, if you're expecting miracles every time, your hopes are too high. In my opinion, the DiscRestore Care portion of the product is better than the DiscRestore Repair portion of the product. The Repair portion does fix MINOR scratches almost 100% of the time, but those ones that are a little deeper, well, you may get lucky. The Care portion does a solid job at keeping protecting your discs from future damage. If only they sold them separately...
