Summary: DiscRX saved my CDs!
Review: I had an album by The Who and another by KISS that I could not play because of scratches. DiscRX allowed me to fix them so that I could play them again. A great product! I highly recommend it to anyone who has the same problem.

Summary: No more skips
Review: I treat my CD's pretty well, but I would say 1 out of 30 CDs will have a scratch large enough to confuse my CD players. With a little elbow grease and this product, I have been able to fix most of these CDs. The ones that could not be repaired actually had data errors on the top of the disc. Before using this product, I would just stick the CD into a CD-ROM, copy the contents to my HDD, and burn a new CD. Using the disc restore, I don't have to go through all that hassle.

It does take some work, but it does work how the manufacturer claims.

Summary: I'm surprised that it's not better known
Review: Simply, my youngest son took a CD to his pre-school and it was dropped out of it's case landing in the dirt/gravel. While attempting to pick it up, he drug it across the gravel, which not only upset his mother ( she couldn't stop him in time) the cd wouldn't play (duh). Anyway, one of the parents told her that they had a product that would fix the cd. Disc RX. When my wife told me what the parent said, I wasn't convinced that this amount of damage could be corrected, but they assured me of how they were able to repair a cd that had been almost eaten by the cd-changer in their car. So I agreed to get the product from them the next day and follow the instructions, which are fairly simple. I did have to go through the process twice, but I was warned by the other parent that that was possible, since most people are extra careful when using the product for the first time. So much so that they over compensate, which I have seen happen with people when they first open up their computers to add a graphic card or other upgrade. Anyhow, what's important is that this product does work. the cd played better even after my first attempt-which was weak at best.

Considering the prices I pay for educational and gaming cd's for my kids and their lack of attention to care and handling of said CD's, I'm glad that I can protect my investment for less than the cost of replacing one cd. I am truly surprised that I have never heard of this product considering how long I have been a computer/technology user. I will be referring people/ mostly other parents, I know to Amazon for the product, in fact I made a gift of the product to the pre-school's computer lab.

Summary: discrx
Review: The discrx is by far the best disc restorer product that I have ever used. The product is very simple to use and there is no evidence of the repaired disc ever being damaged. I strongly recommend the use of this product!
