Description:

ProCite is a set of database tools for grouping, sorting, and viewing a reference database, making it an important tool for users with distinctive bibliographic-management needs. It is especially beneficial to those who maintain special collections. ProCite 5 updates current features already found in ProCite, and has added several new tools as well.

Use ProCite 5 to search PubMed and hundreds of Internet databases. Choose from a list of more than 200 Internet libraries and add new sites yourself. Search numerous Internet libraries simultaneously. Save search strategies for easy updating. Save Time with the new "Cite While You Write" features. See the full record, including the abstract, when selecting from multiple matches. Click "sort" on column headings to locate a reference when selecting from multiple matches. Locate unlinked citations in your document. Select from any of your last 10 citation searches to quickly bring up the results of a previous search.

Use with Microsoft Word 7, 97, and 2000, and Corel WordPerfect 7, 8, and 9. Other new features include a tabbed database window allowing you to easily group and locate references. ProCite 5 now includes more than 600 bibliographic-output styles listed in discipline-specific folders for easy location of the style you need. Use term lists in global find-and-replace to view lists of existing terms when you are making global changes to authors, keywords, journal names, and titles. Improved sorting for non-English windows with ProCite's sorting options that now extend to a variety of languages supported by Windows, such as Polish. Import more reference types with new BiblioLink, which imports different reference types--journal article, book, book chapter--from the same source database. Plus, get all the features already in earlier versions of ProCite.
