I know you are thinking all bull. It is not bull. This game will the scare you until you turn grey headed. BUY IT.

Summary: Creepy...very creepy
Review: Part One of a Trilogy hatched by Gathering of Developers, Rustin Parr is a game developed by the same guys responsible for bringing us Nocturne. Lets start with the review then:

Story: Rustin Parr murdered 5 children in a town called Burkitsville. After killing and mutilating the bodies, he walks backs to town claiming "it's complete now..." Ms. Halliday, a member of Spookhouse (from Nocturne), is assigned to investigate the supernatural link to the murders.

Gameplay: Gameplay is like Nocturne too but this one has a lot more puzzle solving a more involving storyline. Gameplay is done on a third person view. There's a lot of action involved too. You're armed with regular guns and rifles and the more specialized Spectral Pulse Sensor- a device which tracks spectral emanations. Action is tense since it usually revolves around "surprises" like monsters suddenly jumping out of windows, or ghosts popping out of your bathroom when you open the door. Unlike other adventure games where you see the enemy ahead of you. This one relies on a complete shock heart attack way of bringing in the enemies to you.

Environment/ambiance I must say is the best quality of this game. It's just so creepy. A lot of the creepiness has to do with the sound effects and the music. You'll hear voices wailing, you'll hear thunder and lighting randomly. The sound drops to a silence and then suddenly you hear the crack of lighting and thunder. I must say I dropped my mouse several times whenever this happened. Spooky. Very spooky.

Graphics: How do I describe it. Looks exactly like Nocturne. It's 2D pre-rendered background and the character is 3D. Most of the areas are quite dark but it adds so much quality and game experience into it.

System Requirements: Since this was built on the Nocturne engine, the user has to have a powerful system, at least PIII600 with a 32mb video card. Anything less, and this game will stutter all night long. NOcturne engine is notorious for hogging so much system resources and as such this game has it too. Low end computer users should stay away from this game. Mid and High end users will enjoy the graphic benefits of the engine.

Overall: Blair Witch Rustin Parr is a good gaming experience. It's not your Resident Evil type of game because this one has more depth and of course better voice acting. The environment/ambiance level is top-notch. I've never played a game as spooky and as creepy as this one. Try using a pair of headphones with the lights off while playing this game and you'll know what I mean. This game is not recommended for people with heart conditions.

This is a good buy.

Summary: Not a bad game, if you have the HD Space (850 megs)
Review: Rustin Parr is a pretty alright game....Play it in the dark, at night, and I guarantee a scare... It does take up alot of hard disk space, though.... The whole game loads onto your hard drive, so do like I did....install it, take it back for a refund, and play til your heart's content...for free.. It is a pretty good game though....I never played nocturne....Overall, a game worth playing, especially if you are a Blair witch fan.

Summary: Bad Movie=Bad Game
Review: The Blair Witch Project game was a good idea but falls short in depth..........and fun.......and sound.....and controlling.......and last but not least graphics.I have a good Graphics card but this kinda looks like Doom on my computer. So avoid this game at all costs.I would suggest that you buy Oni when it comes out or Quake 3,Unreal Tournament,Halo, and Diablo 2.Just don't buy this game at all.

Summary: Good!
Review: The first person to review this could not have known how the game was because it wasn't out to buy yet. It is probably going to be a great game!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Continues the mythology of the series
Review: This game should be a hit with those who were intrigued by the story of the Blair Witch. I heard that the games will be released serially, one a month, culminating in an October release that should coincide with the next movie.

This one deals with Rustin Parr, the guy who built the house the kids wound up in in the first movie. It uses the same spooky graphics engine that Nocturne used.

Summary: BLAIR WITCH- RUSTIN PARR 1941; Simply spooky!
Review: What a wonderful addition to the growing multimedia experience in the Blair Witch Saga!

Blair Witch- Rustin Parr adds a more indepth look into the events surrounding the Rustin Parr murders of 7 Burkitsville children. As special government agent Doc Holliday, you investigate Burkittsville, discovering more and more about Parr and the evil that infests the woods and the town.

But that's hardly the half of it. Combine spectacular effects such as chilling sounds, a creepy 3D enviorment, the Blair Witch hoopla, and a wild imagination (oh yeah, a fast processor and unfortunately a chunk of memory come in handy to), Blair Witch 1 will have you almost as intrigued as you will be spooked.

I recommend playing it at night with the lights off. It really adds effect. This tinge of mood in the air is lost during the day obviously.

Can't wait for the next 2 games in the series to come out! BW 1: Rustin Parr hopefully atests to the fulfillment in a heart thumping gaming experience with the next two in the series!

Summary: Absolutely Brilliant and Chilling!
Review: When I began playing Rustin Parr I didn't like the game because of the controls and the camera angles. But after playing it and getting use to the system, the game became fascinating. I'm a person who loves horror things, so it takes a lot to scare me. This came has accomplished that! It's hair-raising spooky! The storyline of the game is excellent also. I only gave it 4 stars because of the controls, camera view, and it takes a while to load the next level, but the rest makes up for it. It is a great game once you get the feel of how it works! Play it and you'll think twice about the dark!
