Review: Before I begin....this is to the person who felt this game was too complicated and has only played the demo.... Please sell your computer, go play checkers, and spare us your opinion, its obvious your an idiot.

NOW....with games like Team Fortress Classic & v1.5, the Half-Life series, Serious Sam 1 & 2, Unreal Tournament (forever a classic), and games also like Counter Strike and others like them we have fallen hard, and years later we are still playing them because they were made so well, and thoughtfully. I had found Unreal II and Unreal Tournament 2003 a bit of a disappointment after all it was the fault of the hipe. BUT...they were OK, the issue after all was RE-playability of those 2 games. Maybe once every 6 to 9 months you might throw it in and play again or sell them and move on.

After playing the demo for Unreal Tournament 2004 it was enough to make me decide to buy the game. Incredible graphics, and the new twists on vehicles and map modes and styles are a great selling point. I can already tell that "ONSLAUGHT" is going to be a favorite. I am anxious to see the full game..

MY ADVICE IS TO DOWNLOAD THE FREE DEMO at www.fileplanet.com and try it for FREE first, make up your own mind. It only makes sense. I have already played the demo over and over, it gives you 6 game styles to try and a map for each. You can play it through in the demo. TRY ONSLAUGHT...you'll love it. It certainly appears I will get my money out of this one. My hope is I will play it as much as I did the original Unreal Tournament.

Summary: Greatest game....PERIOD!!
Review: UT 2003 was my most played Demo ever, and so was the game when it was released. I was addicted, it NEVER got boring. So I was pretty excited when UT 2004 Demo was released. I expected it to be pretty good, but not this great. In my opinion it puts Halo to shame. It takes all the great elements from UT 2003 and adds sooo much more. The graphics are amazing, the sound, the levels, the modes, the online play, the vehicles, the weapons, the player models....EVERYTHING!! It is a bit more complicated than UT 2004 but only if you play the extra modes. Don't let this fool you, the extra are where the game excels. If you thought the vehicles in Halo were cool, wait till you try this. There is just not enough I can say about this game, you would just have to play it yourself to see. I can't wait till the final version. If you're interested in any way in first-person shooters, if you like Quake, Halo, any shooting game or any of the Unreal series, this is a must-buy.

Summary: There isnt anything better
Review: We can all admit Halo raised the bar as far as quality and gameplay goes. UT 2004 has set the new standard. There really isnt anything buggy with this game, and for the first time in a long time you get more then what you payed for. More times than not you spend 50$ for a game that works 3/4 or 1/2 of what it is supposed to do. Here your spending 39$ or LESS!! on a PERFECT game. Frankly, I would have payed 50 or 60 for this game. Its just that good.
Half Life 2 and Halo two better come up with something pretty kick a** to be able to beat this game out of Game of the Year.
The Demo honestly doesnt give this game justice, its just a crum of a whole pie. There are 10 different game modes, Stats, Vehicles... AN AWSOME!! singleplayer. This game will keep you busy for the next 5 years+.
The Only Complaint I have about this game is the load times can be lengthy.
If you dont take my word for it, take the 2000+ plus peoples word for it that already have the game.

Summary: Just might be the best game EVER!
Review: UT 2003 was a pretty good game, I played the demo for hours and hours, did the same with the full game and the same with Unreal Championship for Xbox. So when I got the UT 2004 demo for PC, I was pretty excited. But nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to experience. I immediately felt at home with the game, considering many of the weapons were the same, and much of the gameplay. But there was sooooo much more. So I played the demo everyday from the time it was released up to the time I received the full game. Believe it or not, playing that one stage in Onslaught for an entire month never got boring, that is just how great the game is. The full game however, is simply AMAZING!! The graphics are absolutely jaw-dropping, especially with the highest settings enabled (you need a powerful system to run this though). I don't think I've even seen graphics this great on any of the nexgen consoles. Also the stages are massive (mainly the Assault and Onsalught stages), its amazing to think of how much detail and creation when into the design of the stages. The sound in my opinion is also great. You can hear every little minute detail, and much of the music is good and suits the stage. The control is perfect, with the default settings being totally comfortable, allowing for maximum gameplay. Ahh yess, the gameplay. You thought Quake was good, you thought Halo was good, well they're pretty crappy compared to this game. The vehicles, the weapons, the bots, the entire style of the game, is simply outstanding. There is not enough to say about the vehicles. They put Halo's vehicles to shame. There is a perfect gun for every moment, each completely different from the other. The single player is exceptional for a multiplayer type game, and obviously the multiplayer aspect is fantastic, with up to 32 player online deathmatch, and no lag (with a proper connection). There are 10 modes of play, and about 100 levels. Then there's still the Unreal Editor which will allow you to create your own. There is also way too much that I cannot list here that you would just have to play and find out for yourself. I would actually go as far as to say this game is PERFECT. There is actually NOTHING wrong with it and EVERYTHING good. If you can overlook the extremely minor 'problem' of the 5.5 gig install, you'd be absolutely happy with your purchase. And at $40 retail, you cannot find a better videogame experience, period.

Review: This game will change your life. It is the best game that i have ever seen. Where should i start ? How about all the big manly guns that make such cool sounds and effects when you shoot them. Or how about all the cool vehicles that you can drive around, that is such a cool feature. Really this game can be summerized as UT2003+1942=Toatly-Awesome-Game. In fact this game is so cool that I dropped out of college so i could play it all day. My mom is threatening to kick me out of her house and cancel our internet service, but I know she's bluffing. See you guys on a server soon ! J

Review: Unreal 2004 combines UT 2003 and Halo together. I played the demo online and I must say the graphics are just beautiful. I have an ati radeon 8500 128mb, 1GB of corsair pc2700, and a p4 2ghz and I handeled the game at MAX settings at 1024x768 -- the engine is really something. For those of you who say that 2003 was better, thats impossible, because if you don't like the cars and "complicated" missions, there are good ol' deathmatch, team deathmatch, FFA and capture the flag matches without vehicles. Sound deserves 5 stars. If you have an audigy and a nice sound system (like logitech z560) this game is gonna rock your house. The ONLY thing I didn't like was the lagginess on big public servers (im talkin 32 ppl). Sometimes it gets outa hand and you cant even aim straight. But if its a LAN party - thats another story.

Review: It's been just over a year since Unreal Tournament 2003 burst onto the scene and hooked PC players with its intense deathmatch action, but soon after its release, fans craved more levels, more game modes...more everything! Well, more has finally arrived, and boy, does UT 2004 deliver the goods. UT 2004 addresses all the flaws that plagued last year's edition, starting with the revamped single-player tournament. While a broadband internet connection is preferred, the superior combat A.I. ensures you'll have fun offline, too. All told, there are nearly 100 levels spaced across 10 play modes; you'll still find old favorites like Double Domination and Capture the Flag along with novel newcomers like Invasion (in which you zap armies of aliens). But there's more. The return of the much-missed Assault mode should please classic UT players, but UT 2004's crown jewel is the breathtaking new Onslaught mode, in which the goal is to capture and defend all the Power Nodes on a given level. Need more firepower? Hop into a devastating Leviathan tank, a nimble Manta hovercraft, or a stationary Energy Turret. Because it combines the best features of Twisted Metal, Halo and Tribes, Onslaught will appeal to a wide variety of gamers, not just hardcore UT fiends. Surprise, surprise -UT 2004 looks absolutely fantastic. From the sprawling battlefields to the tiny blades of alien grass, there's not one visual detail that looks less than stunning. Of course, a powerhouse PC (preferably housing a top-notch video card like a Radeon 9800 or GeForce 5900) yields the best results, but unlike the choppy PC port of Halo, these visuals are actually worth the investment. Besides, UT 2004 is riveting even with cruddy graphics-that's the real test, isn't it?
UT 2004 doesn't skimp on the sound front, either, offering rumbling explosions and real-time voice communication, all with nifty 3D spatial effects. The sinister background music is catchy without being grating. UT 2004 isn't entirely free of flaws, but they're all minor irritants. The game consumes nearly six whopping gigabytes of hard drive space-ouch! And while the new anti-vehicle weapons are an excellent touch, a few more traditional guns would've been welcome, too. Despite the name, UT 2004 is no mere expansion pack. It's practically a full-blown sequel, but at a wallet-friendly price. And when it comes down to it, Onslaught alone is easily worth the forty bucks. If that isn't a recommendation, what is?

Review: I loved the original Unreal Tournament and played it for hours. When UT 2003 came out I was not that impressed, Based on reviews and such it wasn't very good.

Now theres UT 2004, All reviews, Screenshots, Demo etc for the game are great. In fact heres a blurb from Gamespot: No other multiplayer-focused action game has this much to offer. - Sam Parker, and they gave it a 9.4 superb rating.

I have UT 2004 now and have played it for about 29 hours to date and still love it. There are so many maps and types of missions that it has to be seen to be believed. Anyway the only suggestion I have is to look for the DVD version as otherwise it takes 6 cd's to install.

Review: This is one of the most perfect games. If you liked Halo, you should definently like this one! And if for some strange reason you didn't like Halo, still get this! I only found one small, almost microscopic problem, sometimes turreted weapons would go crazy and shoot backwards, though it is no problem so don't worry about it! The weapons are all very good and there's one to solve every problem. The sound for everything was great! The vehicles were very fun and I especially liked crushing people with the hovercraft and disemboweling people with the scorpion's retractable blades. Speaking of chopping and disemboweling, I especially liked watching body parts fly off when people were killed. Sometimes you might see a pair of legs lying on the ground or a torso with an arm or two. This game has everything that makes a good FPS great! Plus it is fairly cheap for a new release! Go get this now! You won't be sorry in the slightest!

Review: The Epic team has done it again with this blockbuster hit. The graphics and gameplay are awe inspiring. The addition of vehicles to the game makes it all the more addicting.

UT2004 should be rated the best game of 2004 award.
