Summary: The Sims 2
Review: If you've been playing The Sims since it first came out, or you've always been a Maxis fanatic, do not pass this. From the many other reviews and Web site previews, you've had the mere opportunity to see how this new edition is. It's not much different, you think. Wrong, it's different, not by much, but it's a new world Maxis brings you. We don't know if there will even be expansion packs for this, but no matter, the future will come.

Apart from what Amazon gives details on (the whole new three-dimensional thing and having DNA), The Sims 2 seems to features a completely different building mode. Instead of the not-enough or too-much two stories, now you have can have three. You can build your homes on hills as well, it's clearly visible.

The live mode is impressive; the ability to prevent aging is always a bonus. It may sound/seem complicated, if you don't want to deal with them aging or collecting various memories, but in the end, it'll help you and your Sims. Plus, you get to make your own items for The Sims 2.

I had to give it four stars (even though I don't even have the game) because I'm afraid that it might also have a slow start-up like the most of The Sims E.P.s has. I've also heard that The Sims 2 might not have household pets like Unleashed offers, and I noticed many people were looking foward to that (just a rumour, can't prove it yet). I've also realised that the game needs specific video/graphic cards and not everyone has the same.

Have your teenage daughter babysit your newborn son while you and your spouse take a night in the hot-tub. Or maybe your grandmother wants to get her groove on with that cranky, old neighbor of yours.

Summary: Hi,
Review: The Sims 2 is good but I can't rate it because I have a mac! and they never have it out for mac until it is 5000 months when it comes out for windows. But dont get me wrong i do like the sims and i will buy the sims 2 when it comes out for mac. INFO: Some cool stuff about the game that I know is that if you have your people marry and have a kid it will look somewhat like you, Sims of the same sex can marry, you can control the toddlers and babys, your sims may get divorced, they have birthdays so you can actually know how old they are, there are 6 phases of the sims life baby, toddler, kid, teenager, adult, old person! And the awesome part is you know those scrawny houses with only 2 floors say good bye now you can have 3 floors but im not sure if you can have more but you might be able to. The sims finally arent so stupid not to know who there family are, If there grandma shows up your sim will come up and hug her. But im not sure what they do with friends though! This is all the info i have Bye Bob

Summary: The Sims Rocks!
Review: I've been playing the Sims for SUCH a long time and it's kept me busy ever since. I think it's a really fun game, with all the new expansion packs coming out. But the thing that has me most excitied is The Sims 2. It looks like it's going to be a huge step from the regular Sims. DNA! Wow. WHen you really think about that... they're computer people! It's amazing.

Summary: Looks Like the Making of the Best Game of 2004!
Review: When The Sims first started out four years ago,it was the most critically acclaimed game of 2000.If offered the freedom to live out your wildest dreams. With the expansion packs, you can pretty much do whatever the heck you want.Go on a vacation, audition for American Idol, throw a huge house party, get a hot date with that girl next door, become a wizard, own dozens of pets, and buy outrageous furniture that only celebrites would own.I for one, became addicted as soon as I started playing (back in 2000).I spent hours and hours late at night, staring at a computer screen, trying to level up my Sim so he can get that job promotion.

Now,on to The Sims 2.This game looks like it will be one of the best PC games ever to be released.
Here's some improvements over previous versions:

1.You can now have a house with more than two stories.Imagine:having a skyscraper for a house.

2.There will be a diary for you Sim,that will track important moments in your Sims life. For example,it will keep records of your Sims first kiss, your Sims marrage, divorce (uh,oh) first accident on the floor, ect. (okay, mabey not you first accident on the floor)

3.Your Sims can now die of old age. They can also be struck my lightning.

4.Screw those old prerendered backrounds; Now EVERYTHING is in crisp polygons.Unfortunately, judging by Amazon's screenshots,it will look like you will need one heck of a powerful computer!

5.More animations. In the old game, you would see Sims do the same thing over, and over, and over again.

6.(Possibly) Less glitches and bugs.Once,in the old game,my Sim died because he missed work, and burnt to death...

Overall,The Sims 2 looks like it will be one of the best games of 2004.I'm giving it three out of five stars ONLY because the game hasn't come out yet,and I don't know if it will be the greatest game ever conceived,or the crappiest game ever made.

Summary: I CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS GAME TO COME OUT!!!
Review: Since The Sims have come out(4 years ago) I have bought every one so far. These games are very entertaining and fun! If the last 10 Sim games were GREAT AND FANTASTIC this game must be even more exciting! I've been waiting for months for this to come out.

READ THIS BELOW PARENTS
Also, when I was a kid my parents were concerned about buying me the Sims until I was a teen (Like it says on the box). When I played it for the first time I really didn't think it was that bad. There really isn't many teen rated things in the game! The only thing I could see teen rated was romantic kissing and nude blurring in case they go in a shower or bath!
_________________________________________________________________

Now your Sims (or characters) can get older little by little instead of a baby automatically appearing and turning into a kid. You can have 4 story houses instead of a 2 story house and an attic. There are genes from parents who have a kid and there is also weather and days in a month!

That's just a little portion of the new Sims2 game!!! It's going to be the best yet!

YOU GO MAXIS!!!

Review: Now this is what we have been looking for. The sims 2 is gonna be fabulous! With that whole age system and stuff, oh boy. I can't believe it. Your furniture actually ages.WOW! And imagine how many new Items! And just in case you have not noticed they made a whole system on how you can dress your sim. From socks to hair! This is something you want to look forward to folks.

Summary: This game is gonna' blow you away!
Review: I've been reading up on TS2 since November. The Sims 2 has so much realisim. Its has life stages, amazing grapics, and a goal that will keep you playing for hours. This game also gives your Sims a sense of love and knowing to all of their friends and family. Unlike in TS1, your sim will know who grandma is, who uncel Pete is, and even that drunk old dude that follows aunt Katie around. Your sims have life moments too! Moments like learning to walk, their fist kiss, and even the birth of their grandchild. This game will blow you off your feel and across the universe and back. (...)

Summary: this game is unbeliveable
Review: If i could say one word about this game it would be wow. When i saw the game in 2000 i started to save up my money.I wasn't able to get all the games but i was just eight and there wasn't alot of jobs for a eight year old, but i asked my parents and they sayed they would pay half.I worked my butt off to get that game and some of the other games.I read alot about the the sims 2 and the more i read the more i want it.Well i guess thats another job for me.I would have to give this game five golden stars iam sure they put alot of work into this game and i have to give them a hand. When i heard there was going to be a seqle i thought it would be like the first game but i guess they prove me wrong,i didn't think it would be more like real life.when ever i talk about the sims 2 my friends ask me "why do talk about that game so much"?and i say If you played that game you be talking about it all the time to.

Review: I'm jumping ahead and giving this out-of-this-world game 5 stars. I fell in love with the first series, I don't have any doubt the second will be just as successful, if not better. I have been awaiting for this phenomenon of-a-game to arrive, for what seems tooooooooooo long. I'm hoping the producers of maxis doesn't delay the game any further than they have. Cross your fingers everybody that the future release date ends with Aug. 31st. Hopefully, no more delays!!!
