Review: I LOVE this game. I must say, as a young ...gamer, its easy to understand,the concept of running an anciant civizilation is awsome, and the twist with the gods not only make it interesting but educational. Like I dident ever know that Demeter was the goddess of fertaility and fufillment. How cool is that?
They will so love the game and you will get hours of 'Hey mom, did you know that ____ was the god/goddess of ___________?' or 'Dad, check out this city, see? My cities team even won the yearly Olympian games! Isent that awsome?!'
In conclusion get the game, it will bring he/she hours of enjoyment, and you a life time of 'Hey mom' and 'Dad, check it out!' and these sentances wont end with "'Can I have it?! PLLEEEEEEASE??'". :) Happy gaming!!

Summary: For Fans of CAESAR III -this is a great "Sequel"
Review: I thought this game was fantastic, and I was a great fan of CAESAR III. It really feels like a sequel as many aspects of the game are similar, but it is an improvement in a couple of neat ways, and is different enough to be a new experience.It is slightly easier, however, and I find this as enjoyable (or more) because you can spend more time having fun rather than figuring out why people won't bring food, or why your housing won't improve. The diplomacy is good, and it is a much more world oriented game -with Vassals, Allies, and Rivals to deal with. Another thing, the campaigns are great -you can work on a city for a few levels, then leave to found a colony in the next scenario, then go back to the original city again. It keeps it fresh. Also, there a bunch of different campaigns with different difficulty levels. Probably the coolest thing, however, is the presence of the Greek Pantheon of Gods. Like with Sierra's previous city-building game, "Pharoah", you have Wonders that you can build. These Wonders are shrines to individual Gods. Once you build them a God appears who will provide you with a specific "gift" like Wine, Olives, Gold, Armies, or Trade. This adds a whole other level to the game. If you were a fan of Caesar, then give this game a try. Actually, give "Acropolis" a try because it contains not only Zeus, but its expansion pack "Poseidon".

Review: This is a very fun city sim. Ancient greece in all its glory. Easy interface and gaurnteed to lose some major real time with this one...I stayed up all night to finish the troy senrio. Very fun.

Summary: DONT BUY THIS GAME
Review: This is an okay game. There is one problem. Whenever i get going and have a good economy something catched on fire or a plague comes about or another city state just so happens to come to conqour your city. Also the amount of game time it takes to build a full function city is to long. Also it takes to long to build things. For example i was building an Ares Stronghold ( 9 marble ) but in total adds up to about 24 marble, 48 wood and over 5000 dollors. it takes something that should be easy to build and makes it 15- 20 min. If you have alot of time on your hands and alot of patience you might like this game but if you dont buy Stronghold or Age of Empires. I hope this was helpful to you.

Review: I bought this game and my partner has to drag me away from the pc. I've played all the adventures in beginner and am going back to the harder levels...very fun, quite easy to get the hang of. The tutorial is very good.

Summary: A great city-building game
Review: If you liked all the Sim City games and especially if you liked Sierra's Caesar 3, you would most likely like this game. It is very similar to Caesar 3 in the way you play the game, but it is newer, so it has more features. It's sort of like Sim City meets Age of Empires. You can get attacked by various mythological monsters in the middle of trying to develop your Greek polis. I love all the Sierra city-building games. They are all just different enough to be individually enjoyable, but I really love them all.

Review: This game is beautiful and challenging. It is a brillant production. Sierra and Impressions Games has made this one of the best SIMS games I have played. I have bought the expansion pak called Posiden, and have to work at building in ancient times of the Gods of Greece.

Review: I'm sure Zeus is a great game very deserving of 4 or 5 stars. This review focuses solely on the box contents (or lack thereof) I received from Amazon.com This 1-star review is a head's up notice to anyone who is thinking of buying this game at Amazon.com (or any other site on-line, for that matter, without being able to weigh the box in hand). The copy of Zeus I received from Amazon.com was so light that it obviously did not include a printed manual (which, for this game, is several hundred pages). I had to go to Fry's (which only had a few left) and purchase it there (the box was significantly heavier, so I knew it included the manual--this "high tech" test is what the computer game industry has forced consumers who care about printed documentation to do) and then take back the one Amazon sent me. I am so very tired of publishers not listing the box contents on the box itself and I am upset with Amazon.com for not indicating on their site that a printed manual was not included. The computer game industry needs to wake up! No wonder video games are more popular. Every video game I've ever bought new has at least included a printed manual, even simple ones that don't require detailed instuctions for how to play (which "Zeus" certainly does)! [SAD]! If you are interested in purchasing "Zeus" (and many other computer games, for that matter), do so off-line if you care about getting a manual.

Summary: Zeus Gods Gods Gods
Review: I have played Ceasar II & III, Phar/Cleopatra and loved them. Zeus was changed too much. In Ceasar etc. I was the primary God. I also found the editor very complicated. My feeling is that it was written for Game writers. I play for fun. The only thing I liked about Zeus was the interaction with other cities.
