Summary: EverQuest, the Online Communiuty
Review: I have been playing video games since I was 3 and this is the best game I have ever played. However it takes a long time to learn everything and it's not for someone who only has a couple of minutes to play every day.
This game is a community, every race and class has special abilities that contribute to the community. For example, wizards and druids can get other players to where they're going faster than anyone else, warriors protect the wizards and druids, but clerics heal the warriors. Then enchanters can make magical jewelry that increase stats when you put them on, and gnomes are the only race who can use the skill called tinker.
As with any other community it has criminals and jerks. But, luckily, the game also has police, the GM's (game masters) and volunteer guides.
So, let me say again, do not buy this game if you have a strict schedule, do not buy this game if you only intend to play a few minutes a day, but DO buy this game if you want to have some of the best gaming experiences of your entire life.

Summary: Not that worth it :<
Review: Yeah, this game is fun. Sure its fun when you start out. You think its a whole new world ahead of you...but its not. I cancelled the subscription to this game after about a month. You can have up to 8 characters, and they can be any class and race you wish. There are ogres, humans, elves, etc. And their classes are things like wizards, warriors, rogues, and that. It will really remind you of mythology because of their spells and stuff.

Its what people always do, they train and gain a few levels and get some cash from their enemy. Then they go buy some new weapons/armour/potions. They train till a certain level so they know they will be good enough to go out far through the everquest world. Sure, they are strong enough but they expected more. Tons of cool abilities and/or spells and items that makes it look cool like you see on trailers. But they dont get it. They train and train and accomplish nothing just like some other people are saying. Thats why I got rid of it.

If you want a good fun, action/adventure online RPG that is way more fun, then I'd suggest // Dark Age of Camelot \\ I have that game and it is what I expected. Its what I call *fun* ._.

Review: READ THIS REVIEW IT IS VERY HELPFUL

My friend got this game and he was saying stuff "you gotta get it, its so cool" I was so exited to get EQ trilogy. Finally I saved up enough money to pay for it for a few months. By the way thats a badthing, you have to pay $13 a monthly fee to play. Finally I started to play it and that weeks I played it every day. day 1, awesome.. day 2, awesome.. day 3, awesome, day 4 5 and 6, awesome... day 7, SUCKED! after a few days of playing it, not only it gets old, but you learn your way around the game and figure out that its really dissapointing. The graphics are pretty good. but thats about the only good part. its impossible to gain levels, it takes so long. After 5 days of gameplay, 3 hours each of nothing but fighting, training, fighting, training I was level 4. I didnt take one break, not a lunch break, NOTHING. Thats how hard it is. I didnt die once either. It is hard to find your way around. the 7th day before I got rid of it, it took me an hour to find the magic shop where you buy new spells to use. it is hard to use some spells, like hide. it never works. not many people are friendly. I only joined a group 1 time and that was with a friend my friend who I knew in real life. Even in the daytime, it seems kind of like it is still dark. It just barely lightens up. It is still about the same. You need a torch which doesnt help much. you can turn up your gamma and it will be easy to see but it will be like that the whole time even at night so it takes away the fun. It takes forever to get enough money to buy stuff unless you do a trade skill which is hard. It is nothing like the commercials, they say you go on challenging quests, fight dragons and other monsters, go on an adventure of a lifetime! YOUR KIDDING RIGHT? For crying out loud You have to stay in the same town until you are like level 20 which takes about a year, if youll leave in half a minute some monster will kill you. I can go on and on but I am getting tired.

SO......DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IT IS HORRIBLE!!!!! WAIST OF MONEY!!!!!!! WAIST OF TIME!!!!!!

Summary: A NEW PLAYER...
Review: Since I've just started playing Everquest, I'm not really qualified to give the game a proper rating. But there are some important things that new players need to know about EQ. First of all, if you buy Trilogy and the Luclin expansion (which brings the graphics up to an acceptable level) there is NO TUTORIAL placed on your desktop as advertised in the instruction manual, because the Tutorial isn't compatible with Luclin. This means that you'll arrive in Norrath bombarded with menus and information and fading colors and screens with players busily running this way and that way ignoring you and you'll feel like Tarzan dumped in the middle of Manhattan during rush hour - overwhelming to say the least. Anyway, I shouted to the community that I needed help and luckily a Good Samaritan was around to get me started.
Well, why did I give the game 4 stars? Because it is a truly amazing game. I'm having so much fun with it, I can't wait to finish this review and dive in again. And yes, they are all right, it EATS your time. If you don't like fantasy or RPGs or you have three jobs or a ton of responsibilites, maybe you should stay away. But if you want to visit a highly technicial but living and breathing world right on your desktop, buy it right now!

Summary: EQ is not a slash and slay game, for kids!
Review: I've Been Playin EQ for almost 1 year. and yes its addicting, it takes disipline not to play it to much. and yes occosionaly there is a snot nose kid that doesnt want to take the time to learn how to play the game. However if you like rpg games this is it! Dungeon & Dragons on Steriods for the computer. Most of the players are very mature, kids usually give up around the 5th or 6th level as soon as the game starts to require you to think and return to playing Quake. The game is a social game you have to make friends (with REAL PEOPLE), form groups & work as a team in order to advance your charecter. Are these not skills that most people need everyday in REAL LIFE. Is this game a wast of time? I dont think so, for the cost of going to the movies once a month, its better than watchin TV. (just try not to forget your family and friends, hehe)

Summary: A Great Gaming Experience
Review: I have been playing EverQuest for close to two years now and I still find it just as enjoyable today as I did the first day I purchased it.

This game is really designed for people who like to socialize, group, put work into their characters, basically if you want a game that you can master in two weeks or has constant blood and guts splattering across the screen this may not be the game for you.

EverQuest is a large world where you can create your character and adventure for levels, quest for armor, join a guild and interact with others of like interests, or group up with others and raid a zone. There is always something to do in EverQuest, if you don't feel like hunting that night, go questing or work on some trade skills, or vice versa.

The graphics have seen better days, and the customer service could probably be better. But the overall gaming experience I feel still deserves a 5 star rating. The costs of the game I feel are well worth what I get out of the game in ways of character development and friendships I have formed online.

Summary: Building Team Work - a Role Playing Game
Review: If ytou hate the game then odds are you are an "arcade" game lover. Mrs. Pacman was more your style. If you played RPG's then this will fit the bill more. Designed for people to group and team up. Designed where you can build your own guilds of fellow adventurers and join in on quests. This is not a finger flippers game. This is not testing your thumb dexterity, but your logic skills. People that dislike it usually have no patience for quests and want to see "blood" splashing on the screen and do mega carnage to hundreds of orcs.
Set aside a reasonable amount of time. Building high level characters will takes hundreds of hours playing. Be sensible and read the rules and instructions. Go to the web sights eqatlas.com and check out the suggestions for playing. It will make things more fun. For GOD's sake print out the maps or this becomes "Everlost" real quick.
Biggest downer is the speed of the loading when you move between zones. That needs to be worked on.

Summary: A Review from "Kazolas"
Review: I wanted to say that this game was perfect for me. It's not like the games you, buy, conquer, and toss. You can enter Norrath and it's your own little world, you can do whatever you want. I am very drawn to the game, but I am not totally geeked out to it. I play about 20-30 hours a week and like spending time getting my trade skills improved and figuring out new spawns in places I've never been before. Even though I am not at one of those very high levels, I still very much enjoy the game, even if I can only have an hour to play it. I give my full and honest recommendation for the game, as long as you don't get too drawn in to it. It will only become your life if you let it, please know all the good things that you might lose from playing this game. Search for my new character on the Zeb. server on the continent of Faydwer. Hail me and I'll give you lots of stuff, just to help you out. And I also recommend buying the RoK Strat Guide. It really helps for a quick and easy reference when you are playing. Good Luck! And may your time in Norrath be well spent.

Summary: Oh gosh, were back to gay stuff.
Review: This game is really annoying and can remind you of not the cool fantasy with adventure, but the little pink fairy magic that you see in the forest. Gosh, why do people like this game so much?

Im not even giving a review, because If you get it, youll cancel the subscription the next month like I did. Look at screenshots and itll tell you.

The pictures lie, its a trick, dont listen to them! If you want adventure like that, youll have to be playing till your an old man. Get Final fantasy XI, or Dark age of camelot or something.
