Review: A VERRY fun role playing fantasy game online! A MUST for ANYONE!

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: AWFULL AND BORING!!!!
Review: This game is an insult to all PC games. There are no quests and no point to it at all. Plus u need to pay a server ounce u get it. (if your lucky you might find a free server.) Basicilly if you want a cool fantasy game with knights and magic go get Diablo2 because you'll enjoy it much much more!!!!

Summary: Best Game Out There!
Review: This game is wonderful. The gameplay is fantastic. You can own your own home to place your earned goods ( with work :P), Tame hundreds of creatures to become your pets, Make armor and weapons for your other warriors and people you meet, make tons of money in game and purchase whatever you desire. You meet people all over the world and is really a stress reliever. I've been on for over 2 years and I love it more every day. Come join me in the world of Ultima Online!

Summary: Outdated
Review: Outdated graphics, 4+ years and still buggy, overcrowded and lag filled servers. UO was good for its time, but its time has long passed, it belongs in the bargin bin at your local K-Mart. 4+ years of development and still the most bug filled online game out there, I would give this one a miss and try Everquest, or Dark Ages.

Summary: A little above decency
Review: The game overall is quite large and intricate- but it has some flaws.
The programmers did an AWFUL job with the connection-to-actions in UO. There is almost no limit to how fast or slow you can run so there is a huge variation of movement speeds.
As for the gameplay I would consider it an "almost" ongoing process. The most "constructive" things to do gets really boring, really fast, and the fun things dont do anything constructive for you. If you have fun and is doing constructive things, chances are you're a newbie.
They say the game has an end. It does. Once you wear it out, to a new game you go. Also, the lag is horrendous. If you can make it 1 screen without a little lag stop or lockup you'll be lucky
Also there are hordes of dirty mouthes and bug exploiters out there, and the GM's dont care. They let the cheaters cheat and the fairers and squarers go on their own.
Hope it was helpful.

Summary: 2 Years of playing for me and...
Review: Still going strong. How many other games can this be said about? I've played this game everyday (or really close to it) for 2 years and still haven't accomplished all my goals or mastered every aspect of the game.

It's a deeper game than its major rival - Everquest, in the sense that individual skills are VERY customizeable. Sure there are templates that become more popular because of their effectiveness - but you don;t have to succumb to the crowds.

The game continues to grow and change with only adds to the replay value. (replay is kind of an inadequate word as the game never truly ends...) Interacting with ppl from all over the world who - some are new to the game and some have been playing 4 years. (Funny how ppl are playing 4 years and complaining... :) FOUR YEARS??? Umm if you don;t like it... why did you play for 4 years?)

Anyway for the older players its the closest thing to the old style role playing games that were played with dice and paper out there. Ever want to own a castle? You can (be prepared to WORK HARD for that tho), tame a dragon? test your skill dueling another wizard? just the armies fighting for control of the cities? or maybe you just want to craft a fine suit of armor or swords while hanging around the forge with some blacksmith buddies.... why don't you do all of them???? Get the game and get hooked..

Summary: A little out-of-date, but...
Review: Ultima Online was my first massively multi-player online role-playing game. There have been several more released since, which have a lot more eyecandy, but there are still a couple of reasons why you might buy this older game instead:
1. The system requirements are lower, so if you have an older machine, you can still get into a game and play with other people.
2. The advancement is based on skills rather than level. That is to say that there are many skills that you can raise through practice, rather than particular classes and levels. You can find "recommended" templates for characters on the web, but UO gives you the option of breaking out of the mold. You can, for instance, become a grandmaster fisherman and spend your whole life on a dock in town fishing while wearing nothing but thigh boots.

I have to admit that it has been a while since I have played. The last time I played, I was on a "vacation" from EverQuest. It was a nice break from the level-up-and-get-"uber" rat race of EQ.

Summary: Ultima Online, is it REALLY worth it?
Review: I played this game for over 3 years. I’ve seen it come from a simply wonderful game, to the mistake it has become. I highly recommend you get this game if you enjoy the following:
Lag
Lack of help from the game masters
Bug exploiters by the thousands
Foul actions and abundant crowds of insulting people.

This game has lost it's steam, I don't recommend it to anyone.

Summary: The GREATEST online game i have EVER played!
Review: I have played this game for two years now, and I STILL LOVE IT! Awsome game! With many, MANY things to do encluding dungeons, quests for new players to the game, monsters to defeat, and treasure to be gained! The three greatest features of the game in my opinion are (1) the ability to build houses in the game where you can store your personal items, have events, or run a shop, (2) the guild system, where players can join with other players in a guild for events or to learn the game and finally, (3) the 'faction' system, where payers can join one of four factions in the land of Feluccia and are able to battle players in other factions.
This game also has a GREAT help system where Game Masters will help you with any technical or gameplay problems you may have.
The game is very fair to new players. They will have the status of being 'young' where other players or monsters or ANYTHING can't attack you, and other bonuses such as being able to be healed when hurt by healers instead of just ressurected unlike other players. Yes, this is truly one of the GREATEST online games ever created and would give it a 10-star rating if possible!

*two thumbs up*
