I bought LEARN VISUAL BASIC 6 2.0 and it worths every dollar, you will do your first application in the first chapter.

There are two important things you should consider about this product:

1. You must be familiar with BASIC coding lenguage. Why? well because MS Visual Basic 6 is very extensive!, and one book won't cover it, IN ADDITION TO THIS PRODUCT I STRONGLY RECOMEND A BASIC CODING BOOK that teaches you the commands and it syntaxis and the programing-coding techniques

2. The chapters are writen and .DOC format (MS Word) so, learning becomes easier if you print them; and you must have instaled MS Visual Basic 6 standard or professional edition

In general terms this is a great product that allows non-experienced users know and learn Visual Basic 6 easily in 10 weeks, if you are a non-experienced user that wants to start in "VB World" maybe you should start here

Summary: I happenned to read it......Amazing!
Review: this is the best programming tutorial book I've read.
The author must be a very very smart guy. After I finished this book, I've done several projects such as serial port programming even though in this book no related chapters talking about it.
This book re-built my knowledge structure of programming: programming is simple, fun, just needs some painstaking brainlabor work,more or less just like an experienced builder's did.

Once upon a time I admired programmer, nowadays I am not---since this book changed my mind.
