Summary: REVIEW OF SYSTEM COMMANDER 2000
Review: Just when V Communications has produced one of the best software applications on the market with System Commander Deluxe, they go a top the product with their latest software System Commander 2000. Believe me this is better than before.

I found this application much easier to install, mainly because it comes on cd rom. Also included in a "Restart Disk" which is labeled DISK2, DISK1 is created as an option during the installation, I recommend you create DISK1.

The setup wizard is extremely user friendly and easy to configure. In fact changes to the Startup Menu are also very easy and like System Commander Deluxe you can have over 100 OS es in the menu, NO other product even comes close to matching the power of this application.

Finally as an added bonus, Turbo Linux Workstation 4.0 was included in the package I received. V Communications has done it again and they have improved on an already great software application. I can hardly wait to see what they come up with next.

Summary: NOT PERFECT YET!
Review: This is a good product to use with multiOS. However, there are still some glitches on most users. The GUI interface is nice but if you have USB mouse, it will not work and tab can not get to individual partitions. Furthermore, it created one big "MultiFAT" to store all your OS. If that partition goes bad so are all your OSes. Finally, the SC implement a DOS and NON-DOS FAT switching, thus, if the boot commander is bad, DOS will not be able to recover your other OS and/or data in other primary partitions. I found that the program is convenient to use and recommend to those who are not satisfy with one or 2 OS. However, I would like to warn all about the glitches so you can prepare and protect your data.

Summary: HAVE NT4 or WIN 2000??? -- CAN'T BE INSTALLED
Review: Until you read BETWEEN the small print, you'd never know you need a Win/98,Win95,Win3.1 machine to EVEN load the software.

Call customer support? Get refunded? DON'T even think about it. These boneheads don't even respond to their email.

VCOM- where support is just a word. Do us all a favor, and put these dweebs out of business.

Summary: When does the hurting stop?!
Review: You better know what your doing if you use this software. Expecially if you use it with Windows 2000 pro. Problems, problems, how you gonna solve them? System Commander has put me through a living hell. I spent 30 hours just to get System Commander to work with Win98 and Win2000 pro! And when I called LONG DISTANCE to speak with "customer service", the only answer I could get is "I don't know" and "Give us a call when you figure it out" after I remained on hold for TWO HOURS. What is really sad is that these words were spoken by someone who works in System Commander's Technical Support that is an MCSE! Can you believe it? All that studying to get an MCSE so he can tell people "I don't know". V-Com (System Commander) better make some changes in their Customer Service and Technical Support Departments or they won't be in business much longer.

Summary: A great application!
Review: You work for a company with DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 95 version A, 95 OSR2, 98 1st and 2nd editions, Windows NT, Linux, OS/2 Warp installed on many pcs, you can't afford to buy several pcs to keep up, what do you do to solve this problem?

Well if you like me, you grab a copy of Deluxe System Command install it on one pc and have all those operating systems in one location. V-Communications is the expert when it comes to multiple operating system applications and Deluxe System Commander is the perfect example.

The application allows for multiple OS-es in one partition, over 100 different operating systems, universal mouse support, password security, file management and so much more. For the price and the convenience you have an unbeatable combination.

Couple all that with another of V-Communications products, Partition Commander, and you'll be the talk of the IS department. I found this product to safe and easy to install and use. As a computer instructor, this is one product that will certainly come in handy!
