Summary: More loops and sounds than they're charging you for
Review: If you've been using ACID stuff for awhile, you'll probably notice that not all sample libraries are the same. They all cost the same, but some contain more useful stuff than others. The Bill Laswell Sampler is one of those discs that's just BRIMMING with stuff to use.

Not only does it have folder upon folder of different types of loops (beats, basses, one-shots, ambients, etc....something like 15-20 folders in all), but there's an incredible number of loops in nearly each one. Some loop CDs you use a few times: you pull off the few things that are interesting and different, but after that, you don't use it that often and you start flipping through the net looking for new loops and such. If you've got some beats that need some extra weird flavoring, then this disc will have you reaching for it for a long time to come. By far one of the most solid investments in this line of products yet.

If you work in ambient or funk-sounding stuff, or need some new colors on your jungle/drum-n-bass palette (mostly for darkening), then get this CD YESTERDAY.
