Summary: Bah, must everything be about Leo?
Review: It pains me to see so much concentration on Dicaprio with this film. Although, I have to agree that he did a decent job of playing a supporting role, the movie was really made by Gabriel Byrne and John Malkovich. All in all, an excellent movie....though any second rate actor could have played Leo's part, and somehow I wish one had.

Summary: A MASTERPIECE!!!!
Review: I used to think Leonardo DiCaprio was cute- that is why I went to see it for the first time. I saw it 4 times altogether. Now, I'm not exactly crazy about him anymore, but I love that movie. Not only is the man who played Felipe/Louis wonderful, but Gerard Depardieu's performance as one of the Musketeers was hilarious! Loved it!

Summary: This movie was about the three muskateers and a king's twin.
Review: This movie was one of the best I have ever seen! It was filled with action, comedy, a little bit of romance and betrayal. Of course you would have to see The Three Muskateers to understand a lot of it.

Summary: Good Movie, better than average
Review: Excellent acting, wanted to tie Decaprio on a post and horse whip him myself. The musketeers were great. Never cared for the frenchman before, but his character was hillarious. Beautiful scenery, but a bit too long.

Summary: A MUST-SEE Movie!!
Review: This was one of the best re-telling of this story that I have ever seen. Although Leo did a commendable job, Gabriel Byrne was the epitome of the anguished d'Artagnan. Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich, as always, were superb. Gerard Depardieu was great (especially since he was the only true "frenchman" in the cast)! My 4-year-old and 7-year-old sons just love the swordfights. The movie could have done with more swordfights and less love scenes, but that doesn't stop anyone from enjoying it.

Summary: mediocre
Review: The movive is good and well-done but the plot is weak: who could think of making D'Artagnian the king's father? Do they really know what French roalty used to be? Besides, the story with faked Christine looked kind of out of place. Why not to put the beautiful Louise de La Valliere forward to make is look more real? Moreover, the leading actor as it has been mentioned before has nothing to do with a real Freanch king such as Louis XIV. The book is much better and I recommend to read it to compare.

Summary: mediocre
Review: I agree that it is a beautiful movie with expensive decorations and stuff and the musketeers are great. However the plot is very weak and it seems that the movie creators read the book in their teens and did not go back to it before making the movie. Who in the world could think of making D'Artagnian the king's father? Only people who never knew what French roalty looked liked in the 17th century... Besides, Leo Di Caprio is not talented enough to play a real great king as Louis XIV was. Moreover, the love story of Louise de la Valliere and the king deserves more attention because it has been an inspiration for creating Versailles - the most magnificent palace in the world. I highly recommend to read the book series in order to understand what the musketeers and the king were all about.

Summary: I thought the cast was brilliant. The movie itself was great.
Review: The reason i liked this movie was because of the cast, they are great actors. The sound track is wonderful.Leonardo was awsome, but he needs to quit tring so hard to win an emmy. It's not all about winning an oscar or an emmy it's being yourself and doing what you love.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Supporting Actors set off movie and Leonardo.
Review: The movie "The Man In The Iron Mask" is one of the best movies of 1997 and 1998.Leonardo set the stage as the evil ruler and then Leonardo set the stage as the hero. Although the movie concentrated on the King the supporting actor Gabriel Byrne really made the movie the hit that it is.

Summary: Phenomenol! One of the year's best!
Review: This movie really shows the talent of many outstanding actors. Leonardo DiCaprio is a wonderful actor and very talented. Most people just recognize him for Titanic, but his other movies are also great. In this movie he plays a mean, selfish, greedy man, and at the same time a caring, nice, innocent man. It is fantastic! There is not too much sword fighting, and the story is just terrific! I think it is even oscar-worthy for best picture and best actor (Leonardo DiCaprio). A wonderful movie for all ages! I have seen it four times, and I will continue to see it again and again. No doubt about it, one of the year's best! Definitely a must-see!
