Summary: Couldn't Get Into It
Review: The only reason to watch is because of Tommy Lee Jones, Wesley Snipes, & Robert Downey, Jr....and maybe the spectacular airplane crash.

The plot was convoluted and far more complicated than necessary. It goes on and on and on...way too long.

I liked "The Fugitive" and I enjoy good action/thriller movies, but I just couldn't get into this one.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: great action sequences
Review: The plane crash alone is worth owning this for. Tommie Lee jones is great but Wesley Snipes is absolutely awsome as a framed man on the run. Lot's of twists some predictable but overall a great ride.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A Few Flaws, but some exciting moments
Review: THE FUGITIVE it is not, but U.S. MARSHALS has some exciting action scenes and chases. My favorites are the airplane crash and the shootout in the cemetery. And Tommy Lee Jones dressed as a "fried chicken" mascot leaves a lasting impression. Wesley Snipes seems out of joint in his character, but his pole vault escape onto a subway car will jolt even the most worldly wise action fans. Don't look for much insight in this film. It is stylish fun, and the short feature about the history of the U.S. Marshals offers some interesting background material. Maybe after seeing the film, you'll want to try out for a federal star, if the action grabs the "Wyatt Earp" in you.

Summary: This is your Fugitive on drugs...
Review: Which way'd everybody go?!! Who's after whom,--forget why! Is cocaine contagious?...can one person take it and everyone around him become confused and run down? I think that's the message here. I really do. I think! (?) Bound to be a best seller, of course! I personally don't like working this hard at being entertained.

Summary: Not nearly as bad as people seem to think.
Review: The problem with following up a great movie like "The Fugitive" is that you end up trying to do the same movie without looking like you're doing the same movie. The action is different, but the set pieces all seem vaguely familiar.

Wesley Snipes is wasted in a role that should have been beefed up to provide more counterpart to Jones' Sam Gerard. That's why the first one worked, you got to run with both guys. This one is strickly left to Jones, and while he's great, the formula suffers in the mix.

Overall, a little too contrived.

Summary: A worthwhile followup to "The Fugitive"
Review: While "U.S. Marshalls" is not really a sequel to "The Fugitive" is a worthwhile followup. This film has crisp action, good pacing, an is well acted by the lead actors. The plane crash in this movie is not as spectacular as the bus-train wreck from "The Fugitive" but it is exciting nontheless. If your looking for 2 hours of solid entertainment give "U.S. Marshalls" a look.

Summary: GREAT! MUST SEE
Review: Its not really suspenseful movie buts its excellent. As usual Tommy Lee Jones gives a great prefromance and Wesly Snipes was awesome. I really suggest that you see this movies because it is definetly worth your time! Its great!

Summary: U.S. Marshals
Review: Tommy Lee Jones returns in this suspenseful sequel to the 1993 thriller "The Fugitive" as F.B.I. Deputy Sam Gerrard. When a man (Wesley Snipes) accused for the murders of two government officials escapes out into the wilderness after a plane crash in a lake, Gerard attempts to track down the runaway convict. But when he finds out the fugitive isn't the killer but rather his new companion (Robert Downey, Jr.), Gerrard must stand high to prove to everyone the awful truth. Directed by Stuart Baird, director of "Executive Decision", and produced by Arnold and Anne Kopelson (producers of "Eraser" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger).

Review: I've seen this like, 35 or 40 times and I still love it! Tommy Lee is great!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Don't know what to think . . . .
Review: I am of two minds on "U.S. Marshals". Is this a terrifically exciting chase movie? Or an attempt to cash in on "The Fugative"? Probably a little or both really.

I did enjoy the plot twist at the end and most of the action sequences were pretty exciting, but the characters too often play connect-the-dots to let the audience know what happens next. Everything else about the movie is fine too- the music, direction, etc. Tommy Lee Jones is his usual terrific self in the part which won him an Oscar for The Fugative.
