Summary: Good for Seagal.
Review: I don't like Steven Seagal. For him though, this is the best work I have seen him do. "Five stars." Yet, when compared to most films, it still average. Still, if you have a free weekend and want to see a fun film, "Under Siege" may do.

The plot is simple. Terrorists attempt to take over a battleship with some inside help. Since the ship is about to be retired, it has a skelton crew which make the take over a little bit easier. For some reason, however, it still has on board its nuclear missiles. Would the U.S. Navy allow nuclear missiles to be guarded by a skelton crew? I hope not. For that matter would they allow a helicopter to land on a ship of war with Ms. Playmate? Well, maybe.

Don't look to closely at the plot, just enjoy the action. It's a Steven Seagal film. There are fights, kicks and flips, and enough violence to satisfy most of his fans. There is also some nice extra touches. For example, would the United States attack and destroy its own ship, to save the mainland from attack?

In addition, Tommy Lee Jones, as the leader of the bad guys does a good job. This role was done before he became more famous in "the Fugitive." Still, you can see here, what made his so go there. He is fun to watch and saves this film. "Under siege" also has Gary Busey, as a nasty officer. Again, this film is fun, a good diversion on a rainy day, but not for anyone seeking serious entertainment.

Summary: R-Rated for Rotten
Review: This is a pretty standard Big Budget and Big Body Count film with Segal showing that he's not an actor and they must have paid a comic book writer to do the script because it has the look and feel of a badly written comic book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Movie
Review: This is the best movie Steven Seagal has ever been in. He plays an ex-navy seal undercover as a cook. he uses great tactics to beat up the "bad guys" in the movie if you like seagal and you like action you should definently buy this.

Summary: Steven gets even
Review: Segal has, by far, put out the best martial arts films ever.I really liked his 1st 4 movies when I saw them. They were very entertaining. This was entertaining, had a great plot and was well acted. Tommy lee jones and Gary Busey were good also. looking back on his(Segals) earlier films I realized just how big a movie this one was for him, considering that the movies he made before this one were good, but had lost there appeal. This one is a classic.

Summary: One of Steven Seagal's best films ever made.
Review: I had first seen this film on DVD and I immediately liked the movie. The performances by Steven Seagal, Tommy Lee Jones, and Gary Busey were the best ever. The action and the story was fast-paced and kept me entertained. I don't think that this film is a weak or depressing one at all.

Summary: Under Siege
Review: My god! I can't believe how many people gave this film 5 stars. It's absolutely awfull! Don't get me wrong, I like action films, but this was one of the most dire films I have ever seen. But then, all of Segals films are a pile of steaming you know what. FOR GOD'S SAKE, SAVE YOUR MONEY!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: GREAT ACTION FILM
Review: UNDER SIEGE is a great action film. Seagal is in his typical hero (who has encountered government corruption/mistakes) form with great martial arts moves. The USS Missouri is a great platform and Gary Busey and Tommy Lee Jones are great "bad" guys. In fact, Jones has an absolute field day. Great performance!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Probably Seagal's Best
Review: Navy Seal Seagal battles terrorists led by rogue agent Tommy Lee Jones, who have hijacked the battleship USS Missouri and its nuclear missles. Action-packed thriller which pulls no punches. When you see the look in Seagal's eyes upon finding his Captain's body, you know the creeps are dead meat. Highly recommended.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A MUST-OWN DVD!
Review: An action classic superbly enhanced by DVD! This movie will blow you away! The story - renegade CIA agent played with enthusiasm by Tommy Lee Jones(he makes anything worth watching!) and the ship's XO GARY BUSEY take over the USS MISSOURI and its nuclear arsenal. Can the ship's cook stop them? We can all guess the outcome, but if you haven't seen this movie yet I can guarantee you'll be swept along by the well-choreographed action scenes and stunts, the ship's setpieces and a loud and awesome sound effects track to match, which is best on DVD!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It's perfect!
Review: I'm a viewer from Beijing, China. I should say that although "out of justice" is my favourite(because Seagal looks more approchable), but to a navy, the dispassionate presence is so nessesary, and Seagal had done his best.
