Summary: Great DVD
Review: A funny movie with a dope soundtrack for free. What more can you ask for?

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Funny flick
Review: At first, I thought this movie wasn't going anywhere; but as the storyline progressed, I found the movie to be cleverly funny. If you want a good laugh with an unpredictable plot, then buy this movie! Has Dre and Snoop and cameos of Luducris, Shaquille O'Neal, Truth Hurts, Xzibit, Eminem, and others!

Summary: Not that funny
Review: Before I watched this movie I expected lackluster acting but a funny script as it was written by DJ Pooh (Friday). I was right about the acting, which was bad. Dre bored me the whole time he was on screen, and Snoop was OK I guess (but wasn't this supposed to be a comedy?) - DJ Pooh did make me laugh a few times at his character, the dumb kidnapper. The plot was basically wack, and the movie just ends suddenly, and you think...what JUST happened? is that it?!! Don't bother spending money on this, but wait for it to come on TV.

Summary: Awesome movie
Review: DJ Pooh has done it again. The Wash is a hilarious movie. There are so many classic lines, scenes, and moments in this movie. Snoop was fantastic in this. ALso, there are plenty of guest stars in there..and the girls in the movie are hot. Buy this movie!

P.S. I had no clue when I ordered this, but the hot soundtrack comes with the DVD for free!!

Summary: DJ Pooh is the master
Review: DJ Pooh is the master of urban comedies. Snoop and Dre are great in their roles as workers as a local car wash. The plot is nothing amazing, but the movie moves at a great pace and never slows down. If you dont buy it at least rent it.

Summary: a rental
Review: gotta wonder what the heck pooh was thinking. the wash is a bad movie - and i don't mean bad in good way, i'm talking bad in an extremely terrible way. trying to remember a funny part, and can only come up with one - which involves snoop and tommy chong (cheech and chong). would have given less than 1 star - but the scale doesn't allow a lower rating than 1. if you must view it, break out your video rental card, pick up some no doze and coffee, maybe put on a pair of sneakers two sizes too small, and you might be able to stay awake through it.

Summary: Another interpreted opinion
Review: I borrowed the movie The Wash on DVD and I enjoyed it so much, that I went out and purchased a copy for my own collection. I've read the reviews for The Wash and was fairly surprised by the comments. However, I had to consider that not everyone loves a good laugh no matter how unique the plot may be. In addition, not everyone can relate to the life style or mannerism of "some" minorities. In my opinion, the writing as well as the acting was very good and I'd love to see more movies written and directed by DJ Pooh. In addition, it was nice to see Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg portray more than just menacing thug roles but roles that show a lighter, humorous and entertaining side. Too many Afro-Americans are typed cast in such sinister, thuggish roles and honestly, it's shameful. DJ Pooh did well to portray "some" (not all) lifestyles of Afro-Americans. Yes, "some" of the characters in this movie used illegal narcotics, but yet, he touched on a sense of some realism while adding humor. After viewing any movie, depending on the genre, I have to first consider if it could actually happen and if so what are the odds. In addition, I have to be able to relate to the characters and their plight. I weigh out what I would do myself as well as what would people that I know personally, would actually do in the same predicament. Could these events actually take place? Maybe, maybe not, but non-the less, I enjoyed Dee Loc acting unalarmed while sending a cowardly Sean up to the door to get their dates. Dee Loc displayed an unreal character when the police are at the door while he and his friends are breaking laws. I could go on, but I won't; just that it was a great hefty laugh and I appreciated it. I will end this message and say that DJ Pooh selected his characters very well and each scene was directed right on time. So, if Mr. Pooh ever reads these, let him know that there are some true fans out here and that he should look at Shades of Bright Pale. Though not too comedic, it is a must see. Thank you. Signed, a supporter and fan of DJ Pooh

Summary: Do not buy this movie!
Review: I don't see how anyone could give this movie five stars. I love Dr. Dre and Snoop, but this movie was not funny at all. If you liked this movie, you need to get out the house more.
