Summary: Nightmarish and Brilliant!
Review: Kubrick creates of Burgess' masterpiece a disturbingly savage and brilliant film. The astounding director offers a stunning and horrifying vision of an ultra-violent future that will linger in the human mind for all eternity!

Summary: the best film...EVER
Review: For months friends of mine were talking about this movie. I rented it and good Lord! I wasn't sorry. It was very entertaining, and easier to understand than the book! I recommend this to everyone!!!!

Summary: Great book - movie
Review: This has to be one of the best books and movie ever to be made. Read the book and wach the movie both are incredible.

Summary: A Clockwork Orange - HORRORSHOW
Review: Being from the UK I have waited a number of years to see this film (it is currently not on UK release). I think the film was fantastic and would recommend it to anyone interested in both Kubrick and 70's movies such as The Omega Man/Planet Of The Apes/The Wicker Man etc... Compared to some current releases this film is not controversial and would easily receive a UK censorship. Why is it not released in the UK?

Summary: Better than the book??
Review: Well, didn't think I would see the day when I saw a movie that was better than the book. I strongly recommend that you put down that cheese grater now, get a bowler hat and a white boiler suit and get some popcorn and watch this. There is no element of this film which I didn't enjoy my Malenky Droogs!

Stanley Kubrick excelled himself with this movie - however, it is still a banned product in the UK, and we have to travel to foreign countries to savour the delights of this masterpiece. Why??

It hasn't aged much either - considering the film was made in early 1970s, it doesn't look as dated as other movies from that era.

Summary: Some people just won't get it...
Review: You'd have to be a fool to see this movie as anything LESS than superb. I think it's quite obvious that it was not Kubrick's intention to "glorify" rape or violence. What this film does is force you to come face to face with your morals and challenge them. Any movie that can do that to you is sheer brilliance. While it doesn't even TOUCH on a lot of the issues brought up in the book, it is not fair to Kubrick to compare his film to the book. As a stand alone movie, the film is wonderful.

Summary: An All-time Classic
Review: Films such as this aren't made any more. When you watch this film you are getting pure, viseral emotions: anger, lust, fear, etc. It is a testament to Kubrick when many viewers find themselves shocked at what they are feeling at times during the film. This, along with 2001 and Full Metal Jacket, will stand the test of time just as the films of Hitchcock and Welles have.

Summary: Kubrick and the aethesticization of violence
Review: Another milestone in cinematic history, the dark, disturbing, iconclastic, humorous, Swiftian/Kubrickian view of society, freedom, and the Jungian shadow. As always, a stunning portrait of human nature. Kubrick at once repulses and makes accomplices of the audience. Do we acknowledge our own shadows? McDowell is compelling as the "prime misfit" of a degenerate rapidly approaching facist society. True, Alex is dangerous and terrifying, but he is also, for a time, free, and certainly more human than many of the other characters. If anyone should doubt that a government would employ the "Ludivico" technique, have you heard of the "chemical castration" administered to rapists? At any rate, a disturbing film well worth watching and contemplating.

Summary: A Sickening Picture - Bottom of the List!
Review: You would enjoy chewing on aluminum foil more than this piece of trash. This movie made me sick, especially the scene that glorifies rape. I see no excuse for this movie to have been made except to shock and offend which it does to the max! Do yourself a favor, and instead of watching this, shave your head with a cheese-grater. You will enjoy it more.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must see classic film.
Review: This is both one of the best books I have ever read and one of the best movies I have ever seen. It's portrayal of the importance of our will to think and make our own decisions is phenomenal. If you're a punk, you will most likely find this movie a bit more interesting than others will. If you liked this film, try: Romper Stomper(May be hard to find),Repo Man,Sid and Nancy,Suburbia(Old not new),The Decline of Western Civilization, and Soilent Green.
