Rating: Summary: Memorable and entertaining Review: The first one was great memorable entertainment. The secondwas also entertaining but had some problems. I have wanted to see thedeleted scenes in the second one for a long time. The features are a good idea but as usual with Spielberg, the audio commentary is missing. I wish he would take the time to add one to his films. These films were meant for the DVD format.
Rating: Summary: GOOD & BAD Review: The only reason why I am giving this movie five stars because of Jurrasic Park which was directed well. As for The Lost World, it seems like Speilberg got lazy and he left out important information in the movie. I would give Lost World 1 star.
Rating: Summary: TWO great movies in ONE Review: Both of these great movies are collectors editions so they come with all the great features like commentry and the makings. The Lost World includes deleted secenes documentary, illustrations, conceptual drawings storyboards, Models and The World of Jurassic Park Jurassic Park includes documentary, pre-productions meetings, storyboards, Foley Artists, Phil Tippett Animatics, productions photos and notes. Jurassic Park is about a millionaire who creates dinosaurs on an island then everything starts going wrong. The Lost World is about the same millionaire sending a group of people to an island with dinosaurs but then some uninvited giests arrive... This is worth the money and I would receommend it to anyone.
Rating: Summary: Jurasic Park Review: Some movies you love and then there are the ones you wonder what you were watching before. When I saw this movie I was blown away by the special effects which put a whole new bench mark on effects. Although its getting dated it still can amaze me even though it has been transfered to the small screen. This is a must see for dinosuar freeks out there, and just everyone else who wants to see a lawyer be eaten by a T-Rex.
Rating: Summary: a must for move maniacs Review: This limited edition box set of the dinosaur films, which set new standards for computer animated graphics, is a package no film lover should be without. With each film packed to the brim with extras, such as documentaries and production notes, two soundtrack cd's and your very own senitype this limited edition set is well worth the money. Spielberg's films alone are worth the money.
Rating: Summary: Finally! Review: Finally, the Jurassic Park/Lost World series is going to be released on DVD. The movies are in my opinion, the best dinosaur movies that have ever been released. Contrary to the critics opinion on the Lost World, I thoroughly enjoyed it as much as I did in the first one. I'll be sure to have both in my collection upon their DVD release!
Rating: Summary: Supurb DVD Set Review: I've been waiting ages for these films on DVD. I think that The Lost World is arguably the worse of the 2 movies, but still a good 'popcorn'-flick.These two films, along with a film like Independence Day, are great ways of testing out your stereo equipment as well. In the lost world when they're trapped in their vehicle, and the T-rex is growling, it creates an incredible sound on your stereo :) Jurassic Park is known as a classic now, and its special effects still rival that of the newest movies in the theaters today. These DVD's do the Jurassic Park films justice.
Rating: Summary: Edge of your seat thriller! Review: While some may say that "Lost World" was a let down, I found the movie as thrilling as the first. What it may have lacked in story, it made up for it in special effects. The thought of dinasours running loose on an island and reeking havock on a select few was something you could tolerate. But the sight of such a beast loose on a city, added a new level of gruesome to the whole affair. The graphics are so seemless, as to make it truely terrifying. This set of two makes it all that easier to sit down on a Saturday afternoon and have good old time being thankful its just a movie!
Rating: Summary: Great Movies Review: This is an extraordinary set that you can't miss! It takes two of the greatest movies ever which are directed by Steven Spielberg and adds many extra features that you can only of imagined for! The price for the two is the average price for one dvd! Don't miss incredible deal!
Rating: Summary: Awesome set Review: The discs have a wonderfull anamorphic transfer, which should be for such a digitally created movie. I haven't been able to spot any compression mistakes which is a absolute relief. The sound is perfect. With a great support for the lfe-channel, so you can really hear those dinos pounding around. The rear channels feature a great balanced sounds which pulls you from your couch right in the Jurassic Park.
