Summary: I love it, but.....
Review: I bought all three seasons this past depressing, snow-bound winter. After just a couple of days of constant SITC viewing, my husband was making fun of me for not moving from the couch all weekend. A few days later I found that he had taken root at the other end. Heh! This is a collection that men won't mind being made to watch. As for the content...it's not that this season is lacking eventful, suspenseful content. It's just depressing. Carrie spends most of the season making stupid, weak decisions. Yeah, maybe we've all made them. But it leaves you thinking she's not so fabulous. On a more practical note...If you have spent the past few years glued to HBO on Sunday nights OR if you spent money on the first two, you might as well get the third. If the 4th season in its entirety is as good as the few shows I've seen, you'll need to see the 3rd season to catch up on the storyline. It might be worth it to catch a few snazzy one-liners from Samantha, haha!

Summary: Take note BEFORE you buy
Review: HBO Video plans to release a "super-premium" Sex and the City collection before Christmas. Although all seasons for the show are now available, according to an HBO spokesperson the premium set will feature the complete series along with additional content and DVD extras not available on the originals. Also look for new disc art and lavish packaging that is being developed with "an eye for the collector."

Summary: Getting better and better
Review: I am absolutely addicted to Sex and the City, the third season was so wonderful and I love the fact that now I can watch it over and over again. Just the accessories make the whole season great. Carrie has like what...10 Dior saddle purses?? How f***ing great is that?
The DVD's are great with the synopsis and the "quotes from each episode". "I'm scootin' in heels" is one of my favorites.
This is abviously my guilty pleasure, so I recommend it to everyone.
A+

Summary: Excellent Season, Excellent Gift
Review: I believe this season was one of the best, the characters are fully developed into their own and we know them, yet they still manage to surprise us. Many people might have been disappointed with Carrie affair with Big, but that is life and these things happen in reality. So I looked at it in that way rather that Carrie being totally silly for cheating on such a great boyfriend (Adian).

I believe this Set is freaking fabulous!!!

Summary: A Great Argument for Celibacy
Review: Have you ever wondered why most men aren't into this show? I mean, you'd think that we'd be glued to the set drooling over a show about a bunch of chicks talking about sex all the time, not to mention a few softcore porn scenes thrown in.

The answer to the dearth of male viewers is actually quite simple: It's because its "star" is Sarah Jessica Parker. "Sex and the City"? That is false advertising. With Parker at the helm of personnae dramatis, it ought to have been called "Skank and the City."

I was as aroused by this show as I was by staring at yesterday's pizza. According to the product info, this item is not for sale to anyone under the age of 18, which is quite paradoxical, as it is written, acted and produced for women who have never mentally matured above the age of 13.

Summary: The best 'Sex' of my life..... just kidding
Review: This is probably the best season of 'Sex and the City'. It's also a very important one. It's funny because the four girls seem to be the only single women in NYC. So when Charlotte decides to get married, it's a big deal. Too bad that she waits until the night before her wedding to have sex to learn that Trey is impotent. Carrie also has an affair with Big, who is married to Natascha. After she finds out and Carrie ruins their marriage, she breaks things off with Big, much to the relief of her friends who know that Big isn't good for her at all. Feeling guilty, she tells her boyfriend Aidan and he breaks up with her. I guess the truth hurts. There's a fun three episodes when the girls head to L.A. where we get a bunch of cameos from the celebs. Carrie ends up sleeping with a house-sitter (Vince Vaughn) who says he's a casting agent, but really is just watching Carrie Fisher's house. Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy!) appears as Debbie, an obnoxious talent agent, and Hugh Hefner appears as himself and kicks Samantha and the girls out of his party after a mishap with a faux purse. All in all, a great season that ends with a fun episode with Samantha getting into fights with the transvestites downstairs.

Summary: Always great!!!!
Review: I own the first 4 seasons and love every single one of them. If you are a woman in a large city or in a small town looking for that something special in your life you will be able to relate to many things in this series! My advice... if you didn't see it when they were on HBO go out and buy it, you'll enjoy it. If you did see it, go buy it anyway because you'll want to see it again in a couple of years.

Summary: Hilarious and Original!!!
Review: Who needs any other form of TV when you have Sex and the City on DVD? Season 3 has to be my favorite; the characters are given even more depth and nuaince. A perfect balance is reached between comedy and more serious topics; the women are all learning more about themselves, but there are plenty of places to make us laugh.
I would also like to add that I am 24, and I recently turned my 56 yr old mother onto S & the C! To her, it's liberating for women to talk about sex so openly!

Review: I can't decide which season I like the most. With every season, there is that episode that really stands out, but so far every season has been good, and they keep getting better. I know this is a series I will watch for years to come and I'm happy it's out on DVD.
