Review: $35 for six episodes?! You've got to be kidding me! "Ally McBeal" is one of my favorite shows of all time, and for some reason Fox still hasn't released each complete season on DVD. They're available in Europe, but not in the USA! I don't understand it. I also don't understand why so many stupid things are being released on DVD these days, and there are no plans to release "Ally McBeal." It's disgraceful.

Summary: Come to England if you want Ally McBeal
Review: All fans of Ally McBeal should try and order what season you want, on whichever format you like from England, we have them all. I love Ally McBeal and Im thankful for being able to say that it doesnt take long to get what season i want- or half season since they come that way.
Ally McBeal rocks and i dont understand why they stopped filming it just because the American audience was no longer interested, it doesnt go to say that the rest of us arent!!

Review: Ally mc Beal lasted a good 6 seasons. I was able to purchase region 2 seasons 3 & 4 but is soooooooo looking forward for the release of the other seasons I've missed. Especially the last season with Jon Bon Jovi in it. Ally Mc Beal is a story of a whacky single woman's everyday dealings who sort of resembles most of the single women's lives. We can relate to it and make our lives seem fun and light despite what hardships we go through. Please FOX, it's in high demand in the U.S. Why do you tease us so?

Review: Ally McBeal is a great funny and touching show, with a splendid cast and unbelievable level of writing. This set is, basically, a sampler for the first season. The episodes are very good, and you can watch them time after time and still enjoy them.
The main drawback of this set is the fact that none of the other episodes are availble. WHY????????? They ARE in GB, so why not on the states? And while you are at it, bring us "The Practice", too!It would also be nice to have some extras like commentary or interviews included in the DVD set, but at least give us the shows themselves!!! Oh, 20 Century Fox, why are you so cruel?

Review: Ally McBeal is an American TV show so I do not understand why Americans have only been given this small bundle of episodes when over in my home country England we have ALL the seasons available with special features! For you hardcore Ally fans I'll give you some handy advice. Save up for a multi-region dvd player or a computer that plays dvds. Go on over to amazon.co.uk and purchase the season box sets! Review: Ally McBeal is the best show on Television. Since Robert Downey Jr. came onto the show, I haven't stopped crying. He and Ally were meant for each other. She is beautiful and he is wonderful. Both are excellent actors. Tears come to my eyes when I see them together on screen because I do not want to see them part. Tonights show was so sad. I go to sleep with tears in my eyes, and hope in my heart that "Larry" will return to the show soon. Congratulations to the writers, producers, and cast. Bless you all. Connie Crook

Summary: Bad Day? Need to laugh and feel warm all over? Buy this DVD!
Review: Ally McBeal, especially in this first season, has the perfect blend of drama and comedy. I have laughed out loud and cried during one viewing of this DVD, and at every viewing I laugh and cry all over again. If you like Ally McBeal, you will certainly like this DVD. It has some very useful features such as subtitles and HILARIOUS French dubbing! While there isn't a lot besides the shows worth watching, there is a music video and a shameless plug for an Ally-related book. The sound, quality... everything is perfect, but the best thing about these DVDs is that they contain the precious episodes of laughter, pain, emotion and just plain strangeness! A must-have for any Ally fan, and a must-try for anyone who has ever felt lonely, crazy or strange and anyone who loves to laugh!
