Summary: It's growing on us.
Review: We are a very "Veggie" family, and at first we were also disappointed in this video. But we have really come to enjoy it and our 2 boys request it more than all of their other veggie videos.

What needs to be understood is that Big Idea is producing these with the specific intention of putting them on regular TV and give Christian families an alternative to Spongbob, Rugrats, etc. This is a new venue for them, and it is something that we really need to encourage!

We also hope to see new videos comparable to their older 3D ones (or the WONDERFUL Jonah movie) very soon. Til then, "what the world needs now is a hero"!!

Summary: Even good companies can make Bad movies
Review: We are huge Veggie Tales fans in our house. My son (16 months)loves them so much that if he is upset, all we have to do is sing a Veggie Tales son. He loves the animation, the singing, I like the quality of the message. This movie is NOT a typical Veggie Tales movie. There is no music, not even the beginning theme song. The story line is silly bordering on stupid. Not even my son will watch this movie. The animation isn't even as good. I have liked the other Larry Boy themed movie but this one is not a Veggie Tales. I could accept this kind of movie from Cartoon Network but not from Big Idea.

Summary: Larryboy - the Angry Eyebrows
Review: We have every Veggie Tales video available. Why try to fix what isn't broken? The format on the videos are great and something all the kids can relate to. Creators: Please rethink this move.

Summary: Save your money, this misses by a mile
Review: We have really enjoyed the previous 3D animations, but this is pale by comparison. It's more like Larry Boy meets Dexter's Lab, or a slightly more Vegi "Powder Puff Girls". The message is also weaker, perhaps to appeal to a less Christian audience, but I never found the previous ones too strong in the first place.
The early Vegi-Tales are much better.

Summary: Wondering why they ruined Larry Boy
Review: We have to agree with the others that are wondering what happened to the Larry Boy we had come to know from Big Idea. Our son loves VeggieTales and has them all. We prepay for each of them as soon as we find out they are coming out. We are very disappointed in this one, as well as the Leggo My Ego that just came out last month. We will NOT be purchasing anymore of the Larry Boy shows after this. We are hoping that Phil and Mike will see that this was a big mistake and return Larry Boy to his sweet, Christian character. Also, why did it go from 3D to 2D? We are very disappointed and would not recommend this show.

Summary: Not up to par
Review: We LOVE Veggietales videos and have enjoyed all of them. We were very disappointed with The Angry Eyebrows video. The storyline did not match up to the high quality of the other videos in the Larryboy and Veggietales series. We hope that the next video will be back on track.

Summary: Hope there are MANY more of these!!!
Review: We so enjoyed the movie and the message - that going to bed angry causes more problems than it is worth!!! We have watched this for two family nights already - opening up great conversations with our little ones about why we don't hold on to our anger and how it is important to have grace and to forgive others.

Something about the setting reminded of the superhero cartoon Hong Kong Phooey that was on in the 70's - does anyone remember that? My husband and I were literally giggling as much as the kids and we all thoroughly enjoyed the entire show together!

We especially hope that this new animation technique will make it possible to have many more Larry Boy adventures - and for them to come out more often!!! We can't wait for the next one!

Summary: Not at all disappointed
Review: While I understand what some people are saying about the style, as other reviewers have noted there was a reason for the style change. Big Idea is trying to go down a path where the videos can be produced more quickly so that kids (parents) have a greater variety of Christian alternatives to choose from.

My 3-year-old son LOVES this video. He's big into superheros right now, and Larryboy isn't the normal angst-ridden fare with a terrible dark side. And he has good moral lessons to teach, as well as showing that even if you forget or make a mistake, you can still make it right by listening to God.

My 6-year-old daughter likes it, too. And how often does that happen?!

Good family fare, unless you don't want your kids to watch the same program 2-4 times in a row.
