Summary: The quality of Veggie videos keeps getting better!
Review: Bumblyburg, look out...Larry-Boy's on the job! After Junior and Laura hear a rumor, they "share" it with a weed that soon becomes a monster! Can Larry-Boy stop it? We'll have to see!

Lots of knock-off from Batman: The Larry-cave, his nice slave Alfred, and a tight, cool-looking suit!

The VeggieTales videos are pretty cool, lots of fun for kids --and grown-ups too!

Beware though: this video gets just a tad more intense than VeggieTales...at one point a giant weed rips open the ground and slides out, serpent-like, grabbing one person. Larry-Boy also gets slightly beat-up at one point. It just might be a little scary for younger kiddos.

Summary: Amazingly Funny!
Review: I had no idea a kids video could be this funny, and still communicate a message.

Rumors, as we grown-ups pretend to know are bad, bad, bad. And we know a rumor can have implications which devastate the victim.

In this computer-animated tale, a rumor is spread, and a weed is the metaphor. Unless the weed is removed, it grows and invests the Veggie Tales world.

Feel confident that the Big Idea group has done it again, bringing wholesome, balanced, hilarious entertainment into your family's life.

I fully recommend this video.

Summary: Veggierific but no silly songs :(
Review: I have been buying up all the veggie videos since I have a one yr old daughter and I want her to know/learn about the bible and God since our family can't get to church regularly. Veggietales teaches good values - not just christianity, it's not a bible thumping tape, these tapes have funny songs and amusing characters, This tape teaches about how telling a few people about someone else (something thats not true) can get way out of hand, it is though, REALLY simple and funnier than most cartoons, Madame Blueberry is better since it has better songs but I like all of them, Evie will sit and watch her veggietales the whole time its on! she loves it and she won't even pay attention to her dinner that long. (30 minutes) I am so excited about these tapes because I have seen OTHER toddler age children learn alot about the bible by watching these and learning to be polite and courteous, besides the fact that they are so darn cute singing the "silly songs by larry" (a cucumber) I have to admit that unfortunately this tape doesn't have any silly songs, but I at least know she won't be a gossip later on in life. I recommend this series, especially if you want to silently teach good manners and kindness.

Summary: VeggieTales is great, But Little Dogs is getting better!
Review: I like VeggieTales and always will! They are great with all the 3D-Anamation. But there videos are getting a little down there first 7 were the best, after that, they went down hill. Larry-Boy's are really never that good, they are too much Larry-Boy, but still the same you have to buy this video to hear Larry-Boy tell that he is the hero. But if you really want the humor of all the old VeggieTales, and you really like VeggieTales, then you will LOVE this new series that they are coming out with. It is called: Little Dogs On The Prarie, and it is great! Look for it at your christian book store. Tommy nelson dose it! Find more about it at: www.littledogs.cjb.net You will love these cute 30 minute Doggies that have many catchy songs and are really funny!

Summary: A depature from the Veggietale "ROOTS"
Review: I wasn't sure how to rate this veggietale video as it is different then previous veggie video's. Dispite the fact that this video contains one of the funniest lines in the "veggie" video's ("Larry your borinig"..) I decided to give this video 4 stars because while it is an excellent video for kids of all ages with an important moral theme, I found the more bible based stories, such as "Dave and the Giant Pickle" more interesting. A big plus for this video is the larry boy theme song a very upbeat up tempo song that could have been a big hit in the 1970's.

The more traditional Veggietale fan will be glad to know that the next veggietale video "King George and the Duckie" goes back to thier roots (Pun intended) with a tale losely based on Samuel chapters 11 and 12 with a stolen duckie replacing king David's adultery.

Summary: The fun never ends with Veggie Tales!
Review: I've seen all of the "Veggie Tales" movies. My mom thought they were just "cheesy" Christian movies. But when we saw our first one, we found out they were cool and they ended up to be hysterical. Larry-Boy is a super hero in "Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed". I enjoyed this movie because Larry-Boy is really Larry the Cucumber, Bob the Tomato's clumsy assistant. The whole thing was marvelous, so enjoy "Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed"!

Summary: I...am...that....hero!!!
Review: It seems that Big Idea can't go wrong. My sister and I have enjoyed all their videos for years, and this one is no exception. Who ever knew veggietables could be cute? I love how they include little "in jokes" for the kids and parents. Ie., the whole Larryboy theme shows what would happen if Batman turned into a cucumber. But at the same time, kiddies and the grown-ups get a moral lesson at the end. This time, a "don't spread rumors" value is the case. Jr. Asparagus and Laura Carrot misunderstand a figure of speech quoted by Alfred (Archibald). Archy said that he had to "recharge his batteries", so naturally, Jr. and Laura think he's a robot. A talking weed hears the story, and spreads a rumor all over Bumbleyburg. So it's up to Larryboy to stop it!!
My sister and I love the Biblical morals/lessons put into every VeggieTales film, and this one is our personal favorite. The mother weed might be a little scary for the kids, but overall it's a sweet, entertaining story that families around the world will enjoy.

Summary: lessons learned
Review: It's amazing on how my hyperactive nephew is able to sit down and watch Veggie Tales over and over again! He is 2 years old and his mom "never leaves home without it". He knows all the characters and sings all the silly songs, but most importantly, he is able to learn God's Word in a 2 years old kinda way. Children of all ages are able to relate and understand the stories. God's Word never comes back void and I know that the lessons my kids learn from these videos, they will never forget. I even learn a thing or two just from watching Veggie Tales!

Summary: Rumor Weed
Review: It's mayhem in Bumblyburg when a little rumor gets going! And when this weed gets going, she really grows and grows! It all starts with a simple misunderstanding about Alfred, Larry's butler. But instead of spreading nice words about him, Junior and Laura spread a rumor! The Rumor Weed grows and grows, and soon all of Bumblyburg is talking about it! Can Larry-Boy stop the story? Can our hero stop ... the Rumor Weed?!?

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Spread the Word: THIS VIDEO IS GREAT!
Review: LarryBoy; our lovable, bumbling hero of BumblyBurg is back again! And this time, he's battling a sunglass-wearing rumor-weed with a New York accent (who reminds of Joan Rivers!) that's spreading a vicious rumor about Alfred ALL OVER BUMBLYBURG! Yes fans; this video has definite parallels to LarryBoy and the Fib - but that just proves that the folks at Veggie-Tales are onto something very important: Kids LOVE familiarity! My five year old daughter is CRAZY about this video - we've played it just about every day since we bought it! There's the usual message at the end (cruel words can hurt) along with a BRAND NEW catchy song and lots of subtle humor that gets better with each additional viewing! Spread the word: LARRYBOY AND THE RUMOR WEED IS GOOD, CLEAN , WACKY FUN!
