Summary: Great DVD
Review: I'm an obsessed fan of Mr Bean and Although this is bits of Mr Bean - it still includes lots of funny footages. Because it's not enough for me, I am ordering the "complete" collection which they say is still slightly edited.

Summary: Grrrr.. These are not full "episodes"; they're snippets.
Review: I've been a huge Bean fan for years, and it was an easy decision to buy this DVD based on the description. I did my best to put on his homeroom sketch for my high school talent show, and almost got it approved, but anyway, that's another story.
Mr. Bean is indeed an instant classic, and even if you think you hate British comedy, this will probably win you over anyway.
However, beware that you are NOT purchasing 11 full "episodes". You are purchasing a single flashback episode that flashes back to 11 short selections from Bean episodes.
If you dont believe me, note that the total running time is 77 minutes. Subtract the movie trailers, the credits, the intro, and what you have is about an hour of footage, about half of which is the filler between flashbacks. Now, it is quite hysterical filler about Mr Bean rummaging through his attic and playing with his teddy, but it's still filler, and it's still a flashback episode. If you hate flashback episodes then dont bother.
To paint by numbers, the episode "Mr Bean Helps a Street Performer" is about 1 minute and 5 seconds long. Most of the episodes are around 2-5 minutes long. Now, multiply that by 11 episodes, and you have about 40 minutes or less of old Mr Bean highlights for the price of a full DVD. If you ask me, you're money is better spent on Monty Python episodes, or for that matter, the Rowan Atkinson Live tape!

Summary: Only one flaw...
Review: It's a paradox. You see, the flaw is that it's merely pieces of the greatest British comedy show ever, which leaves you sadly craving more (which I guess was the point of it's production). It can only be a few pieces, you see, because it's a single DVD containing the supposed "Best Bits" of the original show. My question is, how can you label any bits the "BEST" when it comes to Mr. Bean? Every second of every show is absolutely hilarious, and I cry and scream while laughing every time I watch Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean and his side-splitting antics. There is real talent in a comedian who can do a show this golden while hardly uttering a word. Indeed, his great facial and bodily expressions along with ingenious plot twists and misadventures makes this stream of consciousness flawless, from the pilot episode to the show's finale. How can we take a few snapshots of that stream and call them the "best"? You can't!

Long story short, the DVD is great. I laughed the entire time, but it left me dissatisfied and wanting more. Though there was a time restraint on this DVD, I wanted it to go on and on. That's the ONLY reason I don't give "Best Bits" a perfect 5-star rating. Great, hilarious, mind-boggling entertainment for anyone.

Summary: Very funny and will keep you in stitches until the end
Review: Mr. Bean is a character that grows on the viewer. He seems to get in the strangest situations of which we can all relate to. The highlight of this video is the church scene, which you cannot stop laughing. A questionable skit with children viewing is the zipper skit which is funny but not appropriate for children. Our children ages 3 and 6 love Bean and are thrilled as we are to watch him in action.

Summary: Greatest comedy ever aired!!
Review: Mr. Bean is hands down the funniest comedy ever aired. This includes such classic scenes as when Mr. Bean meets the queen, gets his head stuck in a huge turkey, goes to church, and gets very nervous on top of a high diving board. I reccomend this movie to anyone, as everyone I know who has seen it has loved it. If you think this is great, what till you get a load of the entire tv series, which are all available on tape.

Summary: FUNNY FOR ALL
Review: MR. BEAN IS ONE OF THE ALL TIME FUNNY PEOPLE. THESE ARE SOME OF HIS VERY BEST. MY PERSONAL FAVORITE IS THE TERROR ON THE HIGH DIVE, BUT THERE ARE SO MANY FUNNY ONES IT IS HARD TO PICK. KIDS LOVE HIM TOO. MUST HAVE.

Summary: AMERICA NEEDS MORE MR. BEAN MOVIES!!!
Review: My husband and I have always enjoyed Mr. Bean.

Well flash forward. Our grand daughter is now his number one fan. Two years old and she can't wait to visit us. She sits for hours watching this wonderful comedian and all his antics. We can't pry her away from the "telly". "Mr. Bean Grandma - Mr. Bean!"

Mr. Atkinson, if you're out there Alexis H. is deffinantly you're number one fan and oh, by the way, please could you do a few more new episodes? I've seen the Best Bits of Mr. Bean about 1000 times. Please just a few new ones for Alexis!

Bean is delightful and funny all his episodes will make you laugh.

Money well spent. Fun for the whole family.

Summary: Christmas is not complete...
Review: Part of our Christmas tradition is watching "Merry Chritams Mr. Bean." Unfortuantely, this DVD includes only part of that classic episode. It's back to the VHS "Merry Mishaps of Mr. Bean" for another Christmas. How disappointingly analog.

Summary: Great Bean dip
Review: Pure comedy fun from a true comedic genius. There isn't anyone funnier than rubber faced Rowan Atkinson who is todays Buster Keaton and Stan Laurel all wrapped up in one package.
