Summary: What To Expect
Review: Greetings, all. If you're wondering which South Park™ episodes will be on this DVD, they are:

-'Underpants Gnomes'©, a South Park™ look at large corporations, and featuring the first appearance of the always-high-strung and apprehensive Tweek™.

-'Trapper Keeper'©, the episode that poked fun at the 2000 presidential election debacle as well as Jesse Jackson and Rosie O'Donnell. Also look out for references to 2001: A Space Odyssey™, the Terminator™ movies, and the milestone animé flick Akira™.

-Also thrown in to coincide somewhat with this platter's street date: the South Park™ Halloween specials 'Spooky Fish'© and 'Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Mystery'©!

And I'd pre-order this bad-boy if it weren't for the fact that it'll soon become obsolete in about a year. Y'see, the distributors of the South Park™ DVDs have finally decided to scrap the whole theme-DVD motif and will be releasing the show in full-season box sets for Region 1 (US & Canada) starting mid-November. Strangely enough, these same full-season sets have been available to DVDphiles in Region 2 for about a year or so now. My rec is you wait 'til these sets come out, and collect the SP series in this manner. But, if you haven't yet seen the eppies on this particular platter and you just gotta have your 'Park-fix, give it a rent when it streets....

Summary: More for the *OLD* Collection?
Review: This DVD is yet another part of the *OLD* collection. If you've been collecting them all along, buy it.

BUT... You may also be interested in the plans to release "Deluxe" boxed sets for each season. For what it's worth, they had things pretty much under control when they started. They released the first 6 DVDs with numbers from 1-6... pretty simple, so why did they drop the idea of building a numbered set?

I bought it, as I've bought every other SP DVD to date. It still drives me nuts that they're going to start all over again. This means most of the fans who bought the individual DVDs will end up buying it a second time.

Summary: I Love The Underpant's Gnomes
Review: This is one of the best South Park DVDs out right now. This is what I rate the Episodes.

Korn's Groovy Pirate Ghost Ride: 4
Spookyfish: 4
Gnomes: 5
Trapper Keeper: 4 1/2

As you can see, Gnomes is my favorite episode. As you know there are canadian ratings on the back. South Park ussualy owns 14 or 18 year old ratings. This one says 18, but don't let the rating fool you. It is really not that bad. Most 18 rated ones are real bad. The worst one you can find right now is, "Insults to Injuries".
