Summary: "I'm the ghost with the most, babe"
Review: Simply put: Beetlejuice is the funniest comedy of its kind since Ghostbusters.
Michael Keaton plays the title character, a fun-loving ghost that likes to do mischief. Beetlejuice is called by a couple (Davis and Baldwin) to get rid of the people who live in thier house.

Summary: Great Movie, Mediocre DVD
Review: Tim Burton began his dark, nightmarish signature-style with this film, and it reeks with imagination. It's not often you see a ghost story which is also a comedy, but this movie mixes the genres with ease. The actors are almost all big names, and they all deliver here. Not much blue-screen was used in this movie, so you get genuine reactions from the horrific sets and costuming. The DVD was one of the first movies released on the format, and it is in need of remastering. The video is almost always filled with compression artifacts..... pixels popping up everywhere. The sound is good though, so if you try not to focus on the pixels breaking up, you can still enjoy the DVD. Let's hope Warner revisits this film and gives it better treatment.

Summary: Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice!
Review: What can I say? This is a CLASSIC! I've seen this movie so many times I actually have most of the words memorized. This movie is hilariously funny, but at the same time it has a touch of drama in it. It's an all around great movie.

Michael Keaton does an excellent job of playing the odd, funny, and perverted Beetlejuice who causes quite the chaos with a newly deceased couple, Adam and Barbara. Let me just say no one and I mean NO ONE could've been better for the part of Beetlejuice.

The only disapointting thing about the DVD Beetljuice is there were no deleted scenes or extra footage.. I was disapointed, but I love this movie so much it was still worth it!

If you haven't seen Beetlejuice, then YOU MUST SEE IT. And for all the Beetlejuice lovers and fans out there this is a must have to your video or DVD collection~

Summary: A TIM BURTON WORK OF ART!
Review: I HAVE SEEN THIS FILM MORE TIMES THAN I CAN COUNT. IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN IT YOU MUST NOT LIVE ON PLANET EARTH. BEETLEJUICE IS A TIM BURTON MASTERPIECE. FROM THE MAKE UP EFFECTS TO THE SOUNDTRACK AND JUST THE OVER ALL LOOK OF THE FILM. I REALLY DON'T HAVE TO PRAISE THIS MOVIE ANY MORE THAN I ALREADY HAVE. ALL I DO KNOW IS I'M GLAD JOEL SHOEMAKER (OR WHATEVER) DIDN'T TRY MAKING A SEQUEL. LIKE HE DID WITH THE BATMAN MOVIES.

Summary: A movie to "literally die for!!!"
Review: Beetlejuice is not a movie that you can't watch under . . . 5,000 times! It is one of the funiest movies ever made, mixing a strange reality to the story, along with a romance between Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis. The funny thing about this story is the strange world between the living and the dead, and the recently deceased handbook, ha. You have to wait in your house for 125 years, while haunting the people that come in, and trying not to break your cover, and in the story, that is why hauntings take place. Tim Burton did an excellent job, and you have to see this movie.

Summary: Because My Middle Name is "Weird"
Review: Set in a small New England town, Tim Burton's masterpiece "Beetlejuice" follows the life of Adam and Barbara Maitlin, owners of a large house and small hardware store. While taking a vacation at home, the couple drowns in a mishap car accident. When their home is taken over by boisterous city-folk, they turn in several directions for help in haunting the Deets family. One such prospective poltergeist is Beetlejuice- brilliantly played by Michael Keaton.

Featuring a star-studded cast including a young Winona Ryder, Geena Davis, Alec Baldwin and of course Keaton, the storyline boasts creative, believable characters simply not seen in movies these days.

Everything in the storyline is clever, from props to costumes right down the score. One of my absolute favorite films!

Summary: ...
Review: It was on the other night, and, having been a big fan of the cartoon when it was being shown, decided to watch it (I'm also trying to see all the Winona Ryder movies I know.).

It's a well known fact i like seeing her [Winona Ryder] dance at the end of a movie (hey, it's funny!), but apart from that, it was just a hilarious film and i liked it very much. The only thing wrong was that it was too short. Maybe the special efects were a bit "off", but hey, it's an older movie1

Summary: Just say it three times...
Review: Imagine not being able to step off the house porch... being dead...and worse: the family from Hell has bought your home, and you're trapped forever with them. This is what happened to Adam and Barbara, a young couple who lived in solitude in a huge house ontop of a big hill. That is, until they joined the undead and were forced to dwell with the living. Could the stepmother be any more irritating with her shrill, "Veruca Salt" demands and her frightening sculptures? Luckily, Barabra and Adam befriended the "dark daughter", Lydia, who helps her family unite with the deceased couple in the attic. But of course, no story is finished without making at least one "uh-oh." Beetlejuice is the outcast in the ghost world, the one Adam and Barbara call on for help. To reach this notorious dead guy just say his name three times...
Tim Burton's terrific masterpiece of the dead and the undead, a creative film that takes you (literally) into another realm.

Summary: Excellent... Hilarious
Review: Just hilarious... my favorite part is the dining room scene with all the singing and dancing!!! Classic moment, not to be missed. Winona Rider and Geena Davis are spectacular in this movie... and Michael Keaton is unbelievably funny!! I couldn't stop laughing. Great family movie... will keep you in stitches!!

Summary: A little gross, a lot of fun
Review: Michael Keaton was already on his way to being a major star when he played the ghost with the most in "Beetlejuice." His performance in the title role simply solidified his status as one of Hollywood's brightest comedy stars.

Now, years later, this film still generates the same belly laughs that it did when it was first released. Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis have fun in their roles as husband and wife who are surprised to find themselves dead, but they are merely window-dressing for Keaton's centerpiece. The only complaint here is that there are a few too many gross-out gags, but that is something which has come to define many of director Tim Burton's films. Still, the movie is a lot of fun from beginning to end, and it's worth considering adding it to your video collection.
