Summary: Truly Disappointed
Review: Allow me to summarize this film for you.

A self-centered, rude and unlikeable Morrissey fan licks Morrissey posters and basically deludes herself into believing that she is going to marry him.

I understand that the film is intended to be funny and over-the-top, but the humor is merely vulgar and mean spirited.

Before someone accuses me of simply not like Morrissey or of being a victim of Hollywood formula, let it be known that I am both a huge Smiths/Morrissey fan and an admirer of independent films. Despite these facts, I couldn't bring myself to enjoy any aspect of this film.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Everyone should LOVE this movie...
Review: because it is fabulous and if you don't love it then you are Stoopid! Even if you are the most obsessed Morrissey fan you have to find humor in this flick. Unless you are one of those somber "I'm in so much pain" Morrissey fans, this movie should seem like pure magic. And if you are one of those fans (like the losers that wrote the negative reviews) take a moment and get a sense of humor! Jackie is such a psycho that it is great! The movie touches on all of Moz's usual hang out's and frequent sighting locations. Get a 40, sit in front of the TV and prepare for pure entertainment! If your too busy crying and putting on black eyeliner - then thats your loss!

Review: First off, if you are drawn to this movie as a Morrissey fan, please spend your money on "Oye Esteban, Introducing Morrissey, Hulmerist, The Malady Lingers on, or Live in Dallas." If you are a B-rate movie fan, spend your money on John Waters, Ed Wood or anything other than this film. I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I was given this DVD as a gift and therefore don't feel bad for wasting my money. Oh, my god was this a bad one! Not good bad or weird bad or indy bad, just bad. I read the reviews on this film and thought to myself, "I consider myself a Morrissey fanatic." I have tried some pretty pathetic attempts at trying to see him or throw notes to him on stage and became interested in the movie. I thought I could be empathetic toward the main character, since I have gone to some extreme measures to try to meet Moz. He is an attractive, talented man. I understand that fans get obsessed with him. However, this movie had nothing to do with that. In fact, it didn't have anything to do with ANYTHING! The movie feels like some hack director got some free equipment and a makeshift crew together to make a long, excruciating, horrible film. How do films like this get distribution? I don't understand it. I'm guessing we won't be seeing anything from the likes of the director ever again. Thank the lord!

Summary: 4 Lesbian Schoolgirls can't be wrong!!!
Review: I first heard about this film on a blog where people were going to Amazon to laugh at the hysterical reviews from irate Morrissey fans. Now, I know that goofing on Morrissey fans has always been a favorite pastime of the less introspective folks on planet earth, but this film really takes the cake. Seriously though, what is the problem here folks? This movie made me LAUGH(...)! Plus, as a bonus, it has the hottest braces-wearing catholic schoolgirl ever to wear a short plaid skirt in the history of movies! So what if she's a lesbian? This is a GOOD thing! I swear, the things you guys complain about!!! I know Morrissey was laughing about this film on his KROQ interview so if he doesn't care why should you? The way I see it, the film breaks this way: If you're uptight and can't take the film because you are such a devoted fan that you feel your whole life is being belittled, then WATCH THE DOC! There is a whole bonus documentary on crazy obsessed Morrissey fans as part of the DVD. They are just like the chick in the movie but REAL! Quite amusing as well. And if you can't deal with that then... well, you can have a bunch of friends over and have a swell drinking game by downing a big swill of beer every time someone says "morrissey" in the film! TRY IT! Seriously folks, if you can't have fun SOMEHOW with this goofy charmer of a comedy, you need to loosen up BIG TIME!!! PS: I read that director Andrew Overtoom patterned the film's look on mexican soap operas and old John Waters films. Genius!

Review: I just got it on pre-order from AMAZON.
Everything about the film is genius. Script, cast, timing
ect !
Jackie Busciano is an incredible actress. she can be a dimwit at one second, then a passionate woman the next.

I wonder here can I send all parties involved fan mail and a bottle of fine bourbon ?

It catches with comedy the short time period between adolesence and adulthood, when you can believe in dreams.

Review: I laughed, I cried, I squirmed in my seat. The acting is hilarious and the story is a farce beyond anything you can imagine. I heard this was an independent film and I read some of the angry reviews so I was expecting the worse, but it was great! The production quality is surprisingly good and the story takes you for a turn that you would never expect. Check it out!
