Summary: what tha????
Review: This has got to be, hands down, one of the worst films I have ever seen. The story of a vigilante who has erected his own electric chair to deal with "soft on crime" policies after his family is slaughtered by an early parolee. Terribly acted, terribly shot. This movie is straight up crap. I started watching it out of camp value, issac hayes, lauren hutton, heather graham...I bet all parties involved wish this poo-bomb would crawl back to the depths of hell from which it was spawned. I saw that used copies were being sold as low as 43cents...this is way too much. You should be paid to take this off of someone. I don't know what kind of compensation would be worth the cost on your humanity. Please, for your own sake! Heinous!!! You have been warned.

Summary: Watts out what you wish for
Review: This is a deeply spiritual movie about a man who, after years of suffering and torment, makes his peace with god. Sound depressing? Try out this:
The suffering and torment involves kidnapping paroled murderers, strapping them to the electric chair he's set up in the basement of his meat packing factory, and throwing the switch while the family members of the victims watch.
For anyone that might have turned off, let me appologize. This is actually a dark, satirical comedy, designed to work at multiple levels of wit, emotion, and humor, and isn't affraid to make fun of itself. An excellent film. Rod Steiger provides a marvelous character performance; the sets, lighting, and scenery are outstanding. The camera work and scenery are especially beautiful.
The only sad part about this film is that, as a made for HBO movie, it did not receive any of the advertising or acclaim that it deserved.

And best of all, the movie intelligently argues both sides of the death penalty without being preachy or obnoxious. It is subtle, humorous, and compasionate, while at the same time fun, evil, and satirical of the whole comic-book vigilante genre.

Summary: I saw it SOLELY for Heather Graham
Review: While this film is definitely in the "WEIRD" category, I can't call it a bad film. It is definitely low-budget, and one that 98% of the population has never heard of.

The camerawork in this film is awesome; lots of dutch angles, high/low angles, etc. which work well for the story.

The story itself is interesting, a self-appointed vigilante who runs his own death row after hours in a meat plant.

If it hadn't had Heather in it, I probably would've never seen it.
