Summary: Can't Get Enough of Mr. Melon
Review: I don't know how many times I have seen this movie but it keeps getting funnier, every single time I see it. Rodney Dangerfield delivers a barage of sarcastic jokes consistently throughout the movie so that there are no dull parts. Robert Downey Jr. is also hilarious in this movie. If you haven't heard of this dive, this movie has the famous Triple Lending that can't be missed.

Summary: Some of the best one-liners ... in the history of film!
Review: If you appreciate the art of one-liners, then you will love this film. Rodney Dangerfield delivers some great lines throughout. Also, his facial expressions are priceless. This movie is great!

Summary: Hilarious. One of Rodney Dangerfield's best.
Review: If you like Rodney Dangerfield, or even just regular comedies, you'll like this one! This is one of best, if not THE best, Rodney Dangerfield movie. The scene with, according to "A viewer from usa , February 7, 1999", Sam Kinison, is so *$^#@!> hilarious! The way he at first seems like a "mild" man, and then goes insane and screams his lungs off and everything is just great. And then how Dangerfield responds to him! Just great.

Anyway, you won't be disappointed for watching this movie. An absolute must-have for any Rodney Dangerfield fan, or even just a regular comedy fan.

Summary: 3.0 out of 5
Review: In the mid 1980's, Rodney Dangerfield had a surge of popularity, after starring in hits like CADDYSHACK and EASY MONEY. BACK TO SCHOOL is arguably his second-best film, in which Dangerfield portrays an obnoxious businessman who goes back to school, with the intentions of helping his discouraged son (Keith Gordon). There's enough jokes and comedy in here to last the whole film, thus it's very, very entertaining. Dangerfield is great, displaying a type of charm as he attempts to start a relationship with a Language Arts teacher, played by Sally Kellerman. The film also marks Danny Elfman's first on-screen appearance.

Summary: Another great Dangerfield comedy classic film!
Review: In this movie Dangerfield again plays the part of a successful clothing businessman president named Thorton Mellon who decides to enroll and take an education in college with his son. This is one of my all-time favorite movies where Rodney Dangerfield's antics in some scene stealer parts are so hilarious. The one I like is when he enters the girls campus residental apartments and accidently sees them nude in the shower of their bathroom. And he says this "OOPS! SORRY", "YOU'RE PERFECT!". Or the one where the late comic Sam Kenison as a teacher yells "AHHH!", "AHHH!" to the classroom students faces. I laughed my head off when I watch it over again because this cracksme up all the time. And trust me still Rodney Dangerfield gets no respect anyway!

Summary: Good for some howls
Review: Not a great film or necessarily a purchase but one well worth watching many times over. Robert Downey Jr. is a real trip as Derrick Lutz the wise cracking anti-student. My favorite scene of the film though has to be the one with Sam Kinison as the history professor. 'Say it, SAY IT!!' And you can just look at Rodney and laugh. The way he walks, his expressions. The film is just flat out funny.

You won't have to pick yourself up off the floor laughin' but you'll be thoroughly entertained.

Summary: Funny movie, beautiful backdrop!
Review: Ok, I confess, I worked at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and watched this movie being made. It gave no CLUE how funny it was until I saw the finished product. This is easily the best of the Dangerfield movies, including lots of classic "Rodney" moments and some good work by the supporting actors. Look for Deep Space 9's Terry Farrell ("Jadzia Dax") in a supporting role too. Also, now that I live in California, looking at this movie is like a postcard from home. The University of Wisconsin-Madison was a gorgeous setting for this movie!
