Summary: OVER THE TOP HILARIOUS!!!!
Review: This has to be the funniest scream of a movie I have EVER watched! I truly disliked the first Ace Ventura, and purchased this one with some trepidation. My first viewing was about one year after it had become a video release. My interest at the time was based on the vintage Land Rovers in the film, which I happened to own. I laughed so hard, the first time through, that I cried. Each time I watched after that, I picked up more subtle nuances and details, which only made the film funnier every time. I believe I have seen this movie at least 100 times, and could practically recite every line.

It is by far, Jim Carrey's best ever comedy role. Completely side splitting hilarious. His improvisational genius is at it's peak throughout this film with side splitting results.

A MUST MUST SEE!!!

Summary: This is an intresting idea.
Review: It's far better and funner than the fist. Written by comic genius Steve Odekirck. Preformed by the worlds best actor Jim Carrey. 13

Summary: Ace Ventura II Review
Review: About as annoying as Austin Powers but not nearly as intelligent, this sequel was one of those movies that had people around you quoting it until it made you want to vommit. While there are about a handful of clever moments, there is so much about this movie that is just plain dumb. While I enjoyed the original, this sequel just goes for the obvious rather than trying to be creative.

Carrey returns as bumbling pet detective, Ace Ventura. After an animal accident that parodies "Cliffhanger", Ace joins up with some monks. After some rather dumb comedy that illustrates that the monks actually find him annoying (Not as much as I did), Ace is talked into going on a journey to Africa of all places.

Ace Ventura's second adventure is tired and predictable by about the fifteen-minute mark. The script is just a series of onbnoxious sound bites and cheesy visual gags. I guess if you are a real die-hard fan of Jim Carrey, you may like it but I would stick with "Dumb & Dumber".

Summary: Funny and Hilarious Movie
Review: Jim Carrey, is very, very, funny in this movie you'll laugh at him the whole time. I enjoyed this movie and I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a Jim Carrey fan. I really liked the beginning of the movie and even the ending.

Summary: Like a Mad Magazine Bit Come to Life...
Review: ...if you can say film is life.

Whilst you ponder on that cunundrum, this Plastic Man Carey performance reminds me of all those great Will Elder parodies done for Mad magazine done a looooong time ago. (Especially his encounter with the croc..) The movie is simply roll on the floor, flat out hilarious. I doubt if Carey can ever be as funny. But, hey! What do I know? I don't make 20-25 mil per movie like he does. In my opinion, we could all use a lil more laughing around this joint, anyhoo. So, get in the comfy chair or plush sofa and kick your shoes off and prepare for serious chuckles. War? High taxes? 7 Horsemen? Blues?--Whatabout'em? How can you worry about all that jazz when we have movies like this?

Summary: Excellent and funny followup.
Review: Who would have thunk it! For a movie that appeared to be just for that big spending demographic - ages 14 to 25, this 50 plus year loved it. This was a funny pleasant surprise followup movie to the surprise comedy hit, ACE VENTURA PET DETECTIVE.

Summary: seems opinion is divided ..
Review: One of the funniest movies I have ever seen. BETTER than the first Ace Ventura by far.

Summary: Okay But Not As Funny As The First Movie!
Review: This movie is okay, it's interesting and has it's laughable moments but it's not as funny as the first movie and some of the gags failed. I only would recommend this movie to people who aren't offended by crude humor so if you get offended by this type of humor this movie will probably just annoy your prudeish personality!

Summary: The Movie is Funny...but the DVD is So-So.
Review: This movie is bigger and funnier than the first Ace Ventura movie. Both are comedic classics. Funny Movie! Now, about the DVD itself:

The DVD is sparse on features. The traditional "Special Features" section actually doesn't have any special features. It's just a few lines of text, blurbing nothing really interesting. There's the also the traditional commentary audio track, and subtitles in English and French. Oh, and the Trailers for both Ace movies. That's pretty much everything on the DVD. (The DVD of the first movie has pretty much exactly the same "features".)

I'm the kind of person that doesn't really care about a DVD being loaded with special features, and even I was disappointed by this DVD.

Summary: "This is a lovely room of death"
Review: Ace Ventura returns in this sequel. Ace (Carrey) is on the lookout for a white bat. This is before he was The Riddler in "Batman Forever" and helped his hatred of batman. Ace Ventura doesn't like bats as we find out as he tries to save Shikaka, the great white bat who has great white guano.
