Summary: The Birth Of Bill Murray....A perfect performance
Review: This film doesn't get the coverage it deserves because it deals with Drugs and other behavior without judgement, and that's not correct these days BUT This is where the best of Bill Murray was born, and seen at it's cleanest and best.....

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: "It never got weird enough for me"
Review: Supposedly Hunter Thompson said he didn't like this movie although he said he thought Bill Murray did a great job of portraying him. Something like that. I loved this movie. I barely knew who Thompson was when I saw it the first time and now I have all of his books. I couldn't believe this was on The Book of Lists 10 worst movies of all times. Screw The Book of Lists! They have the 10 worst movie reviewers of all times. Thompson has had two movies made about him already and he's still going strong. That must be some kind of record. I liked this one better than "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" although Johnny Depp did a great job in that one. And it's really interesting to me how few people even know who Hunter Thompson is. If you're a biker (motorcyle variation) you got to read "The Song of the Sausage Creation" article that he wrote for Cycle World Magazine back around 1995. Bad Craziness! They should make a movie from that article.

Summary: If you did any drugs and drank alcohol all day...
Review: This is what your life would be like if you ate/smoked/injected any drugs you could get your hands on and washed it down with as much alcohol and possible. It is truely an interesting movie, and as your attorney I advise you to see this movie only if you like to walk in the weird side.

Summary: A very well done movie
Review: As a proudly commited Thompson fan, I can understand the attitude of this movie. And it is without a doubt, Murray's funniest film. Very intelligent and very well directed by Art Linson. ( who produced The Untouchables ) It is ashame that most critics could not grasp this movies brilliance. A particularily rememorable seen includes Thompson and Nixon discussing " The Doomed "

Summary: Excellent
Review: A strange journey into strange times. Murray does Thompson excellently but Boyle does not come near to doing as well as Del Toro in "Fear And Loathing In Las Veags".

A wonderful film. Sort of an older brother to "Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas". This is one of those movies that the film makers know won't get good reviews. But they do it anyway. And films like this always find an audience which proves that there still are strange people in this world;thank God!

The film follows Thompson on his strange journey as he checks into a hospital to avoid a deadline, gives away his Superbowl tickets, and interviews Nixon at a urinal.

With music by Neil Young, Bod Dyaln, Jimi Hendrix, and CCR.

Ralph Steadman drew the title cards for the opening scene.

The best line in the film is the last. Also, if you are a true die hard Hunter S. Thompson fan, you have to buy it.

Summary: Great, crude humor
Review: My God, I loved this movie. The best part is when they're in the Zoo-Plane and you see Hunter flying the plane. Bill Murray is the man.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One All-Star film with a decent cast that keeps you laughing
Review: Bill Murray is excellent as Dr. Thompson. Some of the lines are very catchy and are an excellent source of laughter. One of my own personal all-time favorites.

Summary: One of the very best movies ever made on Earth!
Review: Where the Buffalo Roam is one of the three best movies ever made on this planet. The other two, Spinal Tap and Harold and Maude, also happen to have perfect soundtracks. From the opening Neil Young chords, this rascal soars. Bill Murray is at his very best as Hunter S. Thompson. There are so many perfect moments in this film that any ten minute sample will have all but the most pathetic viewers laughing for days. This motion picture is a masterpiece!

Summary: Classic Murray!!! One of the funniest ever!!!
Review: This movie is one of my top ten all time, right at the top of the list... it drags a bit...but the Murray one-liners are worth the price of admission. after you see it 2 or 3 times you'll find yourself quoting Murray for no reason at all.

Summary: Bill Murray as Bill Murray.
Review: The best scene in this tedious production occurs during the first five minutes when Murray's Doberman attacks a Richard Nixon dummy, firmly sinking its teeth into the Trickster's crotch. After that, it's all downhill.

A good film depicting Hunter Thompson has yet to be produced. Perhaps it's impossible to do, but Murray's slapstick approach does a disservice to Thompson's dry wit.
