Summary: My Chauffeur Rocks
Review: After seeing this movie for the first time in years, My Chauffeur still tickles in all the right places. One of the best features of this flick, is the awesome soundtrack. After years of searching for the source of this music, I finally stumbled on the following. The Wigs, the Band that appears in the chapter titled "Cat Fight", as well as on the soundtrack, are a real band, not just an urban legend, Yes, Virginia, There Really is The Wigs ! and they used to play frequently at "Madam Wongs West" in L.A. Rumor has it that The Wigs are considering re-releasing all their recorded material.

Summary: Even Deborah Foreman Can't Save This Movie
Review: After watching Deborah Foreman in Valley Girl and Real Genius, I figured a cheesy movie could be made worthwhile with a beautiful face. I was wrong. The screenplay is terrible, the dialogue is atrocious, and the acting... well let's say this movie should not even be played on cable at 3AM!

Summary: Awesome movie! Can't find a better B movie anywhere!
Review: Everything about this movie--from the cheesy boy meets girls, boy and girl have incest plot to the amusing antics are forever in my heart. This movie will make you laugh, will make you question the 80s, but most of all, will make you feel good! Find it, you'll like it!

Summary: A good replacement for all those worn VHS copies.
Review: First off, kudos to Rhino for salvaging this cult film from the 1980s. While you're at it ... howzabout doing the same for Valley Girl, Real Genius or April Fools Day! :)

All in all, I'm pretty pleased with this release

The animated bios are for Debby, Sam Jones, E.G Marshal, Howard Hessman and Penn & Teller. They consist of headshots from the movie accompanied by things like Date-of-Birth and filmographies.

The slide show is much like the animated bios, but consist only of about 10 photos or so.

While I am glad to have a "clean" copy to watch now, I do have two small complaints.

1). Sadly, the DVD is full-frame as opposed to letterbox.

2). The transfer, while somewhat clean, does possess some signs of age. I'm sure Rhino did the best they could with whatever print they had. It just might've been my TV, but it did seem to be somewhat darker than my VHS version

I highly recommend this to any Deb-heads out there or fans of 80s cult films.

Summary: A 1980's classic!
Review: I absolutely love this movie. I have been a fan of this film since I was a kid. It is enjoyable in so many ways! You can enjoy it as a period piece or as a screwball comedy. Deborah Foreman is great in this film. I have no complaints about this one. A+

Summary: Cult classic from the 80s
Review: I agree with the other lovers of this film. It's a guilty pleasure to watch this movie...my girlfriends and I, who were teenagers when we first watched it, had every line memorized. It is babe, isn't it? If anyone DOES find out how to get the soundtrack from this film let me know, I have also been searching since it came out.

Summary: My, my it's hot, but at least it's not STICKY!
Review: I discovered this movie in the 80's while working at a TeleVid, a VHS and Beta rental store (REMEMBER Beta!!). This movie is hysterical and SO quotable. Deborah Foreman reminds me of an adorable grownup Shirley Temple. Like another reviewer, I thought The Wigs were excellent and have sought out their music a few times over the years. This movie should be viewed as a time capsule from the 80's, rather than an example of exemplary filmmaking. ENJOY it's humor and cheesiness. Who'd ever think we'd be waxing nostalgic about those years. Sigh...

Summary: A must have for an 80's teen...
Review: I first saw this at the theater when I was a teenager, and have had it on video for years. It is one of my most precious-and BORROWED- posessions. If you can get through the WHOLE desert scene without cracking up, then you really don't get this movie. It's a classic and always will be.

Summary: Too many viewings
Review: I have had this film since 1989 and have loved it fdearly on nights when I (or good friends) need to feel just that little bit better. Gentle romance and Sam Jones. Bit of comedy love it!! My problem is tonight (28/4/02) my copy has given up the ghost and gone onto video heaven. Guess its time I bought that DVD player. I simply cannot be without this feel good movie. All girls should try it at least once.
