  Summary: A landmark movie! Hysterical!
Review: Everyone compares this to Fast Times at Ridgemont High. It's very much like that from a generation standpoint. This movie is absolutely hysterical! It will take you back to those most embarassing moments of high school. This is one to buy and watch with a lot of friends.

  Summary: Sick, American Fun
Review: American Pie is one of those classicly demented movies that you'll want to watch on a bad day. It's filled with so much high-school bathroom humor that some won't be able to bear the puns and the jokes. Anyway, the anamorphic video quality is outstanding, and the 5.1 surround is great, though I've heard better use of it. As for special features, you've got a music video (Tonic), a commentary track, information on cast & crew, and a promotional featurette complete with nudity and foul language (yeah!). Make sure you buy this version instead of the standard DVD version of American Pie, get to the pie scene and you'll see what I mean!

  Summary: Soooo Hilarious
Review: I thought this movie was so funny, not recommeded for young kids, just a normal everyday thing a guy thinks about doing.

  Summary: A Porky's for the 90's
Review: "American Pie" succeeds as the "gross out" comedy hit of 1999. Four high school friends (Chris Kline, Thomas Ian Nicholas, Eddie Kaye Thomas & Jason Biggs) make a pact to lose their virginity before they graduate. "American Pie" is more than a crude teenage comedy but an amusing look in the chronicles of teenage romances. The story is somewhat tame but the cast is appealing and often quite memorable. Jason Biggs and Eugene Levy have great comic chemistry and deliver some of the film's most hilarious and awkward moments that dares to push the R-rating. This wildly amusing comedy is presented in its 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen format. The DVD contains a great picture quality with fine resolution, and a well balanced 5.1 Dolby Digital sound. The DVD contains a funny audio commentary by cast and crew, outtakes, behind-the-scenes featurettes, DVD-Rom extras and some eye-popping menus. With some amusing extras and a good bargain price, "American Pie" earns a satisfying "B".

  Summary: INNOCENT VERSION OF "KIDS"
Review: This film, although of very mundane and not-so-controversial theme nowadays, succeeded in its excitement through the dialogs, the actual suspense which intriegued the viewer to a certain point. Admittedly, not all scenes were as powerful as the first (innocent masturbation caught in the act by very conservative mother). All in all, far from a waste of money. A more sentimental approach to sex than the infamous "KIDS". Maybe we should be teaching sex ed to our parents and let them enjoy this teenage movie about real life adolescence?

  Summary: Great for fond memories
Review: This is a great movie for the people who want to remember the good days of senior prom and trying to get your first score. This movie will keep you in stitches the whole time you are watching and perhaps bring some good memories home. This will also give you a little reminder of some of the hilarious pressures teens put on themselves

Summary: Funniest I've seen in a while.
Review: When I first went to see this movie I had never even heard of it. I actually went to see another movie but the theater switched at the last minute. I was not disappointed at all. From the very first seen I was lmao. It's been a long time since I saw a comedy that had the whole theater in tears. Naturally I bought it as soon as it was realeased on video. Only thing negative I can say is it was kinda unrealistic. C'mon a senior jock who is still a virgin! Any senior who is still a virgin for that matter....

Summary: AMERICAN PIE Packs A Good Taste
Review: AMERICAN PIE has to be one of the funniest movies to come out of the 90's. Basically everyone knows the story of four high school friends who make a sacred pact to lose their virginity before prom night, but it's the things that happen in between that will have you rolling around with laughter. This is a movie everyone should see, but those who have a disregard for slapstick, in-your-face humor should stay away. Many highlights include: a boy getting "intimate" with apple pie, a boy who has an "accident" in a cup of beer, a french girl with an amazing body, and a band member who has a special talent that involves the assistance of her flute. All in all, a halarious funny trip to be had!
